I just thought of something...with the inclusion of "Smashville" in SSBB, wouldn't it be awesome if they had some of the items from Animal Crossing? Some would include Golden items such as the slingshot, shovel, or axe. What do you think though, would Pikachu cxarrying an axe be deemed "mature"?

Axes and Shovels might be a bit much, then again there hitting each other with baseball bats.

The Dark Prognosticus should totally be a weapon. You could use it to bludgeon people over the head :D

The net would be cool. You could trap people in place. But it would be a cooler reference if it were Link to the Past's Bug Catching Net, to be honest...

I'd nominate the Fly Swatter for a comical Nintendo weapon. For "original SSB items", they should introduce the Chipote Chillón (probably under another name), a comical plastic hammer that makes funny sounds and appears in Latin American sitcoms and various anime shows.

Doesn't Wario or somebody use that hammer in Mario Power Tennis? Maybe Luigi? I've definitely seen it in a Nintendo game

We need to have all of the tools that Link doesn't have as items. Bombchus, Megaton Hammer, Cane of Somaria, Cane of Byrna, Fire Rod, Ice Rod, maybe even the Lantern!

What about the Biggoron sword as an item. (was that in melee BTW, I never got around to playing it. [never owned a GC])

I'm afraid not. However, it did feature as a buyable weapon in Soul Calibur 2 though.

They should also include the weapon trinity from Fire Emblem in there, meaning a generic Sword, generic Axe, and generic Lance, unless someone has ideas for more specific choices.

Fire Emblem did have a catapult you could get in and shoot people with. That would be pretty cool if they put that in...

Mario Paint's fly swatter is a great idea and I could totally see that happening in a game like SSBB.

The Gaddbrush is an item I can see popping up. You could swing it and slather people in paint.
Sorry to bump such an old topic ;p

Well, what about the Ultra Hand? Can anyone find a good use for it?
