Well, for one thing, Sakurai seems to be disliking working with Rare/IntSys/whatever. See how he's been avoiding DK characters in SSBM? DK's a big enough series but still...
Well, there's only 1 character as well for his own Kirby series. Oh well.
But I can tell Sakurai loves 3rd party big companies, not in-house developers.

Sadly, that would be impossible. It is against the very laws of physics to look worse than DK-Viners. It's kind of like light speed in that regards.
Childish mockery is not very mature, fo' shizzle, but being obsessively and constantly angry about a series of videogames? I mean dudes. Just close the site! They're obviously not very happy with it any more.

DKVine shouldn't be mad at this update at all! If I recall, this was an attack of Donkey Kongs in DK 64. You had to press C-up I believe.

Stuff like this and the Animal Crossing recital is something I want to see in SSB battles. Other sub-interactive things I've thought of in the past are: - The ability to fire ducks in a possible Duck Hunt stage
- The ability to play microgames in a WarioWare stage or via a WarioWare item
I hope you guys realize that you're making yourself look worse than them with all this childish mockery. I kind of agree on not mocking them; won't that attract raiders or something? DKVine shouldn't be mad at this update at all! If I recall, this was an attack of Donkey Kongs in DK 64. You had to press C-up I believe. Yeah, that's the Bongo Blast attack parrothead mentioned. I wonder if Diddy Kong would use his.

I hope you guys realize that you're making yourself look worse than them with all this childish mockery. Robbypants, we're doing it 4 teh LAWLS. Think of teh LAWLS I'm wondering if the bongo beats still hurt fores. From that screenshot, it didn't, but you never know. If may just increase the clap's power. Hofully your beats do hurt foes as it would make great combo potential. This looks best for the basic 3 platform courses. Just possition yourself on the top on and wait for anyone to get knocked into range. Well, for one thing, Sakurai seems to be disliking working with Rare/IntSys/whatever. See how he's been avoiding DK characters in SSBM? DK's a big enough series but still... Well, there's only 1 character as well for his own Kirby series. Oh well. Well, I'm hoping he adds Diddy as the franchise is a bit less Rare. And besides, Diddy is cool (that's right Fry). Who knows, they just need another character.

We're not insulting them in their own forums. Unless somebody from here goes over there and trolls or tells 'em about us, we're pretty safe I think.
Anyway, I don't care if I seem childish. I thought the "Dunki Park" cover of mine was fairly clever, and I live to annoy anyway. Viola! A recipe for success.

Something that occurred to me just now:
It's possible that the Konga Beat move's damage is reflective of how well you play the bongos. If you button mash on the claps--you probably do a little damage and stun everyone around you, sure, but if you play it well, you do insane amount of damage.
Just bananas for thought.

Yeah I want to bongo Jam with K.K XD.
I hope you guys realize that you're making yourself look worse than them with all this childish mockery. Part of me thinks you say that out of your goodness and part of me thinks you do it for a specific reasonI kid though. there are a good number of perfectly intelligent people on that forum, but the mean is just geared towards the forums being filled with Crazys. XO Exactly, that's what I said in the Rumble Falls topic. XD I don't sling my rocks blindly; I do it with a purpose and a specific target. Oh, and "Samurai Goroh" is finally spelled right in the Assist Trophy section of the English site. Hoorj!

I'm actually pondering - if DK can't move, then what are all those people doing near him? He's obviously about to attack...
Do you think the music draws people towards DK? Or perhaps Tei is right, and the strength of the blow increases, damaging people further away from you as well.
Otherwise... couldn't you just move out the way?

Yes, but you could also avoid the Mario Finale and Zero Laser, and just stay out of the way when Bowser transforms into Giga Bowser...I'd still be willing to stake my money on your performance determining exactly how effective the attack is. Similar in concept to Marth's Sword Dance move (or whatever that's called--his smash-B move in Melee, where you could perform a combo of four different sword maneuvers.)
That and it seems like only the claps actually stun people...it's entirely possible that there's far more strategic value to this than what we see. Maybe players take advantage of the "attack void" to rip into each other while DK is busy.

If a trophy room is back, I wonder if Final Smash characters would be another sub-category for trophies (in SSBM, there was regular, Smash 1, and Smash 2). If there isn't such a trophy sub-category, then the DK Bongos will probably have their own hardware trophy.
Is anybody here expecting an original song from the Donkey Konga games as a main/alternate BGM? I only knew the ska one from Donkey Konga 1 and I think it's a fine sequel for the DK Rap.
