Is he really only please becuase we went ape **** on him. The news, I mean, silly. Well if he was only pretending to dislike the update, he obviously did it to illicit a reaction from us. I'm not sure how the resulting behavior he received is anything he wasn't expecting. That said, bashing the DKUers has kind of gotten out of hand. We might not agree with their views, but I don't see why that should extend to us disrespecting the people that frequent both here and there. It's not like everyone else here doesn't have some crazy fanboy bias towards certain characters and franchises (*cough* Tei *cough*)  |

Did somebody here say that goat thing was from Kirby? Tell us more plz, whoever did.
And is there really gonna be more than one of these Adventure Modes?

Smae for the Pig Mask ship and Sir Kibble guys. |

The goat thing doesn't look like a usual Sakurai enemy (the little wire fellas do, but not that thing). I'm SURE I recognise it from somewhere... It's not a Commyloose though... that would make it a jumping octopus And to everyone posting here... if the DK-Viner says something you don't like, don't start flaming them like idiots. You're bigger than that. Ignore them, and if they keep trying to irritate everyone, then we have ways of dealing with that. Don't turn every thread into a flame war. If the reactive flaming continues I will start doing fun things, like editing your post counts, and changing your avatars and other fun stuff like that. And I have a MESSED UP sense of humour, so don't test me |

Brawl: The Subspace Emissary is a robust side-scrolling action game!- This is the Subspace Emissary! -       More than anything, Smash Bros. is a competitive action game. People have been kind enough to praise its multiplayer, but we’ve never been able to create a fully fleshed out single-player game.
This time, though, we’ve managed to create a complete side-scrolling action game. It’s storyline isn’t overwrought—it’s hastened along by a bunch of quick movies.      The Adventure mode also emphasizes character development. You’ll see many famous characters persevering under the weight of their personal histories, shouldering their unique burdens... With so many wonderful characters appearing together, it’s like a dream action game. We’re putting tons of fighting spirit into making this game, so I hope you’re all looking forward to it.

Nice triple post there, dumbnuts.  What, may I ask was that funky looking ram creature in today's update? It has to be from something...I mean, they put in Hammer Bros and Bullet Bills... This looks...kinda like it...?  Eh, it's a stretch, I know. It's a Commyloose from Kid Icarus. I have a hunch that the Hammer Bros. and Bullet Bills might actually be Assist Trophies rather than enemy drones. Just a hunch. |

I still stand by the conviction that screen with the Bills is from Twilight Princess, and that the stages don't always match the enemies you fight there (due to, I dunno, spacial disruption or some crap?)
Regardless, those helmet things are definitely NOT from Kid Icarus. Trust me. I've done an extensive search of the enemy sprites in both the NES and GameBoy games: they don't exist. If anything, it's a retconned enemy. Same for that ram, sadly. I'm seriously thinking they just made stuff up that matches the feel of the game. It's not too farfetched.

That was my guess too, except my reasoning was they the new enemies are meant to be evil copies, like the little alien robot Fighting Polygon guys.

It could also be possible they are Kid Icarus enemies, but Sakurai took the liberty to make new "versions" of them. Kinda like how we still had Koopa Troopas in Paper Mario, but we also got things like Koopatrols and Dark Koopas--different variations on the theme. These could be the octopus enemies, just... in a version that they retconned into existence. |

Whatever it is, I hope it isn't gonna rely too much on smash-created stuff. The beauty of Smash is the mix of crazy-many Nintendo cameos.
