 Super Smash Bros. Brawl: The Subspace Emissary is a robust side-scrolling action game!- This is the Subspace Emissary! -       More than anything, Smash Bros. is a competitive action game. People have been kind enough to praise its multiplayer, but we’ve never been able to create a fully fleshed out single-player game.
This time, though, we’ve managed to create a complete side-scrolling action game. It’s storyline isn’t overwrought—it’s hastened along by a bunch of quick movies.      The Adventure mode also emphasizes character development. You’ll see many famous characters persevering under the weight of their personal histories, shouldering their unique burdens... It’s really something you won’t see anywhere else.Video (If Video doesn't work, click here, scroll down, and watch it.) With so many wonderful characters appearing together, it’s like a dream action game. We’re putting tons of fighting spirit into making this game, so I hope you’re all looking forward to it.

Is the video loading for anyone else? It just seems to search for data eternally when I click on it.
Anyways even with just the images, this is freaking awesome.
EDIT: It's loading for me now, at a HIDEOUSLY SLOW pace. I've yet to see more than the first 15 seconds of the clip.

PALUTENA IS IN PIT'S CUTSCENES. HOLY wizzleING CRAP. I love this. You see KI-like enemies, Meta fighting (perhaps to get his Halberd back?), character pasts, beautiful FMV's, Peach is in, and an Arwing fight against the Halberd. EDIT: www.youtube.com/watch?v=a01LMZMaDgk |

This is huge! I've always hoped that they'd do this sorta adventure mode, and this just exceeds all expectations! I mean, they're even gonna have aspects of the characters's personal history included in the story. I mean, all those back stories being stacked together with a chance of intermingling...gwaaa  |

Wow, this is getting exciting! I love those animations, and the expression in Mario's face. Is that a Farore's Wind?  The mysterious "  " title became " Adventure Mode". And the fact that it has a name is once again reminiscent of games like Kirby Super Star. If the high-quality video doesn't load for you guys, try viewing it in the page of some lesser-used language. |

What an amazing update. The pictures look fantastic, but do make me concerned if there is co-op for the adventure mode. But that does not really matter if that is in there or not, this mode looks quite good to just do with a single person.

I'm bored - so going to do a breakdown of these awesome-oh piccies!  This screenshot seems to show Tros...  It's not an exact match, but I can't find any other KI enemies it could be.  This looks like a Jungle Beat character, but I can't find a screenshot of it anywhere. Can anyone confirm?  Samus is here, but I suspect this is a StarFox stage. Could that be a Pigma Dengar ship up there? It doesn't look like much else (although it is a little familiar).  Sword wielding spooks wearing helmets that look like Sir Kibble's armour from the Kirby games. But what are they? They don't look like a Kid Icarus enemy. Oh noes!  Hammer Bros. Duh!!  And Bullet Bills. So... let's get identifying! |
