Special Moves I havn't seen a thread like this so I thought I would make one. So we know Mario's Special, Link's, Bowser's, DK's, Pikachu's and Samus's. But what about Kirbys? We had kinda seen it in the E3 movie but what is it? I think Kirby is cooking Mario. But I don't know. If Ganondorf is in Brawl he should turn into Ganon! Anthings possible. But what could sonics be? I don't know, but maybe you do?  |

I noticed that they seem to have "types" of Final Smashes. Transformations, moveable attacks, stationary attacks, and inescapable attacks.
Like, for example, Bowser transforms into Giga Bowser. He just gets better stats. Mario and Samus have moveable attacks, because they are just larger variations of regular specials that you can fire anywhere. Same for Pikachu. DK has a stationary, where he attacks from one spot. And Link has an inescapable, where he catches a player and beats the crap out of them.
My guess is that Kirby's is the latter, where he bangs a pot and the nearest player is auto-captured to be boiled alive.
Likely we'll see an even mix of all these. I can see Ganondorf transforming, Jigglypuff standing still and singing, Meta Knight trapping a character in a sword volley, Pit firing a powerful beam of light, etc. etc.

It sounds like a good theory.
what makes me wonder though, is why we haven't seen Kirby's Final yet. He's one of the four "smash-mascots", and we saw it in the trailer. I'm beginning to speculate about whether they've changed it or what not.

I'm beginning to speculate about whether they've changed it or what not. Cook was so much classier than Mic or Crash, the only other feasible ideas I can come up with. I hope they didn't change it  |

I hope they didn't change it Yeah, me too. But they probably haven't, it would be weird to change it. I just wonder when it's gonna get uploaded to the site, it's kinde strange to wait so long for an already confirmed Final. |

Thanks. Though I just realised something. If Ridley is in Brawl what will his special be? And what about King Dedede? I could go on. Sonic, Pacman, Bomberman, Sakurai would have to work out specials before he could put them in the game. True? |

When you think about it, base characters like Mario, Link and Samus have all had moves made up for their Final Smashes. So that he would have to make some up for other characters isn't so surprising.

Like Sonic - he could transform into Super Sonic for a while. |
