<Palutena’s Army>Pit is the captain of Palutena’s Army, the guardians of the Goddess of Light! It’s said that when he raises his voice to heaven, this goddess will appear. Goddess Palutena! I beseech you!Now that’s what I call a deity. Look how big she is!
Well, I guess technically that’s not her actual size. She just chose to manifest herself as something that big. Here come the flying Centurions... Now, attack!They divebomb at incredible speeds!
It’s very difficult to dodge a charge of Centurions, splitting the sky like a storm.
Then again, the Centurions scatter after they clash. They each make one attack and then fall in battle. Their sacrifices are so...so moving... |

Awww, I was hoping that Palutena might have been playable after seeing the glimpse of her last week. Ah well, nice move anyway.

Yay! I love the 3D rendering of the little soldiers! They look just like the official art of them!  Just yesterday I was wondering what Pit's final smash could be. This exceeds my expectations! Super-Cameo!! |

First, please, Sakurai, give us a character. we can't go a week without one. it's Madness. Hopefully it's a good one this week.
But, I can't deny this was quite awesome. Definatly a different flavor of a Final Smash, but it definatly helps Pit. Buut, one like others, this one will rely on your own skill.
And, Palutena is very nice. Definatly digging the update. Kind of wish she was a character. Would have been a nice addition, but, yeahm doubtful.

A question. Why do those Centurions have wings sticking out of their head while Pit has wings sticking out of his back?
I mean should'nt the Centurions have wings sticking out of their backs too?

I have the goofiest grin on my face now. This has exceeded EVERY expectation. What a clever idea for a Final Smash! I totally forgot about the Centurions! And summoning Paulutena... HEHE! :3
And did you guys notice Pit had blue fire, instead of red? I wonder if that has to do with what number player he is

Because... that's what they looked like in the original game  If that doesn't make sense, I dread to think what you'll say when you see a bounty hunter from the future beating up on a fantasy elf clad in green, a dinosaur that eats people and an electric mouse. On a flying platform over a holiday resort. |

P.S. "Now that's what I call a deity" Palutena is the head goddess of the church of Nintendo. It's official. Anyway, this was a great update. Palutena herself was exciting. The centurions were icing on the cake. Also, about the centurion's wings. I don't think the wings are coming out of their head. I think the helmets have wings. According to mythology, Mercury wore a helmet like that. |

Wow, WOW, Palutena has IMO the most gorgeous redesign I've ever seen of any Nintendo character, is simply awe inspiring. I can't believe they actually pulled this piece of art from a 80s character. It makes you think about a lot of underrated characters and how they would look today.
