Everybody was saying that Tom Nook should have been selling tropies instead of the machine in Brawl. But now that we have stickers, that can't happen. Maybe we can have Nook in a newsagent selling them. Ahh mabe not.
And one more thing, I know that everybody was saying that why did Animal Crossing get it's own icon? Maybe Nook or a Male Human Character would be playable people thought. I don't know. But why didn't Dr. Wright and the Devil get their own icons? It wouldn't of taken that long to mae an icon for them would it?

Dr. Wright and Devil/Demon didn't get any icons because they're only Assist Trophies. It's unlikely that anything else (anything big, anyway - like a character or stage) from their respective game series will appear in the game.

2 things about the icon:
- Dr Wright and the demon - see what Blueberry said.
- Animal crossing - Remember that stages have icons too, just play SSB/M and you'll see! That doesn't necessarily mean any characters would be coming out, especially the stage is introduced before mentioning any AC characters.

Stickers does not equal lack of trophies. It's totally possible that they'll coexist in this game.

Well Gorgohro is also an assist trophy who has a separate icon. Dr. Wright and Devil/Demon are just individual characters that do not have their own stage or character. Animal crossing though already has a stage and an item...they couldn't just smack the Super Smash Bros logo and say that's that. |

Except Yoshi and Captain Falcon's inclusion in the game is a no-brainer; there's never been any contradictory evidence to say otherwise. However, we have reason to doubt that anyone of importance from Animal Crossing will be playable in Smash Brothers without relying on baseless speculation. |

That screen was more to indicate the human in the back, but I guess Redd is a good one to eliminate too ;D
Blathers for Brawl? I dunno...I might be able to hit that! Nothing quite like a panicky owl that gets squirmy around bugs.

I actually tinkered around with using Blathers as my Animal Crossing choice in my Nintendo Vs. Capcom design. I dropped him because of the awkwardness of his moves...but maybe I'll resurrect him. I had him dancing with fossils, which hit opponents, using the pyero (sp) wings as his third jump, flinging beetles in sheer terror that could stun opponents and using paintings as a projectile reflector. Fun stuff. ^_^
