"Animal Crossing: Go K.K. Rider!" (0:52) Click here to listenComposition Supervisor: Toru MinegishiArrangement Supervisor: Keigo Ozaki• The copyright for this music is held by Nintendo. • Check your volume settings. It hardly needs to be said that this music plays in Smashville.
Many Animal Crossing songs are pretty serene, so there are a lot of songs that aren’t very suited to a fighting game. What to do, what to do...?
Then there’s this arrangement. As I sit and enjoy this song, it reminds me of one phrase in particular...
"Heroes always arrive late."

Hey parrot, are you going to do two seperate updates for this and Yoshi's Final Smash? Cause the two are so freaking different that I think you should.
Anyways, awesome set of updates! Do you guys think this will be (one of) the song(s) that KK Slider plays when you catch him on Saturday evenings? I sure hope so, or at the very least I hope it's a nighttime only ditty. Fighting on cheery ol Smashville in the daytime with this theme playing would be quite awkward.

I wonder if Sakurai is hinting us that K.K. Slider is playable but Tom Nook nor the human characters are not? I mean, Tom Nook is in the background... And Sakurai only mentioned K.K. Slider when Smashville was announced... And now Sakurai says "heroes always arrive late" when he talks about K.K. Slider's song, making it sound like K.K. Slider is an unlockable.

What, "Heroes arrive late", and that's true, K.K. sings at 8:00 pm. That's a bit late. Nothing about being playable there.

A great piece of Animal Crossing music. Is this music from AC on the GC or the DS version, might I ask?
"Heroes always arrive late" is such an awesome quote.

It's for... both I think, the reused DS tunes weren't improved at all. The original tune from the GC version.

What an awesome song. It kind of reminds me of Drake Redcrest's theme from Chibi-Robo. I'm guessing they're both supposed to sound like theme songs from those Japanese superhero tv series?

Indeed! It has a very sentai flavor, even its name in Japanese is "Yuke! K.K. Raidaa" which is extremely cheesy, from the 80s mech and sentai series.
Now that I think, that quote may be from Kamen Rider itself? Sakurai talking about his childhood ;D

What the hell? Two updates?
Sounds great, though. And what the hell does 'heroes always arrive late' mean?
Nuts. Nuts nuts nuts.

By the way, tomorrow is Hideo Kojima's 43rd birthday, a MGS related update could be the Sakurai way to say congrats.
