<Super Dragon>It’s tough to know what to call Yoshi—some call him a dragon, others a dinosaur. Some people don’t know WHAT he is.
But whatever you call him, Yoshi’s true power will be seen here! He’s gotten the oft-mentioned Smash Ball! W-wings! He starts spewing out a jet of fire... But you can also press the button to spit out fireballs!It feels like, um...beauty and elegance...mixed with clumsiness. Certainly, no one’s ever seen Yoshi like this!
Being able to fly around is nice, as is giving undivided attention to his attacks. Yoshi can live as he likes, for a brief period of time. Oh, to think it’s already over... |

I wonder if it will also have the Yellow Yoshi ability from Super Mario World.

It's not as much a SM64 DS reference (Yoshi had his wings and fire breathing there too) or YI reference as it is a true SMW reference. Brilliance.

This looks fun.
Since it was not mentioned, I guess he won't have the stomp ability. It always felt strange to do it while he had wings anyway, didn't it?

This is definitely my favorite Final Smash so far. Not only is it a fantastic retro reference, but it just looks like he can do SO MUCH DAMAGE with this attack. Our little low tier Yoshi is growing up! *sniffle*
Wow. This week has been excellent.

When I saw that Yoshi's Final Smash is growing wings and breathing fire, I went crazy!!!! Super Mario World is one of my favorite games and to see such a perfect reference to the awesome Yoshi power-up (flashing Koopa shell) just makes it one of the best Final Smashes (gotta love Pit's Final Smash, though)!

Is an unexpected Final Smash, but very faithful to Yoshi's roots. Better than the clichéd stampede in my opinion...

Super Mario World. Also where he first appeared. Also where he shoots fireballs.
To be honest at first I didn't realise it was a World reference and just thought Sakurai had been back to his wacky tobaccy stage. But regardless, it looks awesome.

The stomp is out because it evolved into Yoshi's Butt Stomp in YI and it's already an attack anyways. But dizzamn that is awesome. I almost creamed myself. I mained Yoshi in 64 and Melee, so this was a dream come true. The little bugger has some life left in him yet  And with that new recovery added to his Up B (my money's on it being a flutter kick while you toss eggs in midair), he got a lot more sexy. Does that giant fireball look like an image of Yoshi's head to anyone else but me? |

This moce seems a bit weak to me. Maybe the screens don't do it justice. But he seems to spit weaker fireballls and that's it.
