The SSBB Boss Thread

It would be one of those bosses where you don't actually have to damage him enough time to KO him. You'd just have to survive an onslaught of Ice Climber-based attacks and swarms of minor enemies until you have an opening to jump up and grab him out of the sky.

That description (minus the part where you actually touch the boss) reminds me of the former version of him:

Except you couldn't even lay a hand on Dumb Drum. Trust me, the condor wouldn't half as lame. They could even make the stage you're on difficult to get around. It'll be a hair-pullingly frustrating stage, just like the original Ice Climber!

Here's a boss that I'm sure will be in...

King Boo: He will occasionally turn invisible, at which you have to lure him into a light source to damage him...

I just hope the bosses have diverse way to beat them. Like with King Boo, you have to hit him with light. Maybe you have to turn on the lights somehow. Or there will be a lite light in the room, and you have to hit it so it can shine on King Boo.

Here's a couple more I see appearing...

Big Bob-Omb: You damage him by getting Bob-ombs (which will hopefully be reused as items again) and chucking them at him.

Nightmare Boss (from Kirby) Will attack with all his various maneuvers, and you damage him with the Star Rod.

Heres an idea for using what I was talking about

Giant Chu Chu: (With Kirby). Kirby has to use inhale at the foe's base. Eventually it will fall and you must damage it.

I hope you can fight any boss with any character you want. It'd be really lame if you could only fight Petey with Kirby.

I hope they ad bosses from other series than Mario, we already got Petey after all.
and since King Bullblin and bridge of Eldin are already in the game, I am betting we are fighting him.

I think even if there's set bosses for particular characters in Subspace Emissary, there might be a "Boss Run" mode somewhere (maybe as an event match?) where you play through every boss in the game with a chosen characer.

There should be a Boss mode, after all, this is a Sakurai game, and all of those have that kind of thing.
Still, if they don´t do the boss fights character specific (like use Peach vegetables to defeat Wart, or use Samus missiles to destroy Mother Brain), I think you should be able to pick your character in a Boss Mode

All for a boss mode. I just hope it's beatable. I never could beat the ones in the Kirby games.

Me neither, those were impossible, but that's Kirby.

SSBB, I imagine, would have an easier boss run, you don't really have health, you just gotta stay in the stage...
