I have an idea, to make SSB DS stand out from the other Smash Bros games maybe instead of starring Nintendo All-Star characters and franchises it could star all the obscure Nintendo characters like Sukapon, Muddy and Jill. Its Super Obscure Bros DS! Starring all your favourite Nintendo characters that most people have not heard of before*! In single player, choose your favourite obscure fighter and beat the heck out of all the popluar Nintendo characters like Mario, Link and the rest of the characters from the console Smash Bros games! That will teach them for getting in the way your chance for a sequel! In this mode you don't earn points, you earn cash for which you use at the end to throw at a varity of Nintendo producers to finance your new game. The congradulations/thanks for playing screen now shows your victorious character on the boxart of their new game. *Except for Parrothead.  Now, please comment on this. |

*Except for Parrothead. x-D I didn't see that coming. I hope he doesn't feel mocked by the comment, but honored. I agree, it will never be a commercially successful game. However, it would be great as one of those promotional games that are given to fans or suscribers of official Nintendo magazines. Ironically, it would still be an obscure title!! |

Also Johans I personally was hoping he would honored/complimented by that, with his large knowledge of obscure and "Japan only" titles.

Big bump! I could've made a new thread, but oh well. My idea for the game: Super Smash Bros DSPresenting the famous Nintendo Stars beat-em-up, now available on the go! The new character roster may be small (18), but it's a good size for a DS game, eh? 1.Mario 2.Link 3.Kirby 4.Pikachu 5.Fox 6.Falco (unlockable) 7.Pit (unlockable) 8.Luigi 9.Zelda 10.Shiek (unlockable) 11.Peach 12.Bowser 13.Lucus(unlockable) 14.Ness 15.Ice Climbers(unlockable) 16.Donkey Kong 17.Capt. Falcon 18.Yoshi The main enemy is The Ancient Minister, with Master Hand and Crazy Hand by his side and the control of the entire Subspace Army. In Adventure Mode, your goal is to go through the stages and defeat the enemies before time runs out! I may post more of it later. I'm just too tired right now.  |

I'd like that! that'd be pretty fun. I guess the graphics could be like the first Smash game, and the gameplay like Jump Ultimate Stars.

Ah, didn't notice Lucas. But still you're mostly just listing stuff we already have, and throwing in one or two new ideas. How about some more originality?
I'm hoping Brawl will have a Bowser's Castle stage.

Super Smash Bros. Retro would be the name for SSBDS!!!  I would have the following characters playable in their retro style: 1. Mario in his red overalls and brown shirt just like in the first Super Mario Bros. 2. The pre-Rare Donkey Kong from Donkey Kong '94 without that eyebrow ridge 3. The brown-haired and pantless Link in his brown shirt just like in the first Legend of Zelda 4. Samus in her default Power Suit as seen in Metroid: Zero Mission 5. Yoshi6. The white Kirby from the first Kirby's Dream Land ]7. Fox in his Star Fox 64 look 8. Pikachu9. Luigi in his white overalls and green shirt just like in the first Super Mario Bros. 10. I bet someone else could come up with a better idea for SSB DS, it's a pretty good concept. |
