For some reason, Diddy has a weapon made of wood. Is that jungle technology?<Standard Special Move: Peanut Popgun>It’s a peanut shooter! This is Diddy’s projectile weapon. You can boost the speed of your shots by holding down the button...But if you hold it down too long, the gun explodes, so be careful. Also, if the shell breaks and a peanut pops out, you can apparently eat the peanut. You recover a little damage when you eat it. Is this for real?<Up Special Move: Rocketbarrel Boost>It’s a double-barreled jet engine! If you charge this up before using it, your jump power increases. And if you tilt the Control Stick left or right while charging it up...You can even curve your flight path!If you get attacked while riding your Rocketbarrel Blast, you’ll lose your barrels...and they can sometimes go flying away on their own.Danger! Danger!

Very good... I love those two moves because of their extra effects. I hope more characters have moves with that kind of details and secondary effects, too.

So both attacks have the chance to be more powerful, but run the risk of stuffing up? Nice.

Good update and interesting attacks. I thought at first the Up Special Move was like fox's but it looks like they managed to keep it (mostly) original with the longer charge up making you jump higher and for making them get knocked off when you get hit. Has anyone noticed the amount of images Diddy Kong is in that invove him with fire? Also the first picture has the mail carrying pelican from Animal Crossing in the background.

Isn't there supposed to be another platform?
Man... what is WITH this stage?

I'm OK with the whole peanut popgun exploding thing, and the whole exploding rocket barrels seem great. I just hope that his other moves are up to scratch.
Edit: I've just noticed that I've been demoted to two small stars, and it no longer says that I'm Saturu Iwata.

Isn't there supposed to be another platform? That one floating platform seems to move along the course, that is why it is not in the images or the Smashville stage could have been changed during the game's production and it could have been removed. But I would say the first option is way more likely though.

Lovely update. The rocket barrels flying off and presumably causing damage to whoever they hit is a nice touch (woulda looked just like Fox's attack otherwise). Sqrt, I updated all of the post ranks yesterday evening. Don't get star envy And besides... Bubbles is awesome.

I'm happy with Diddy Kong's moves so far. The Peanut Popgun is a good option, as is the Rocket barrels. I wonder if you can try to use them again after they blow up.

It's so crazy how all these characters are getting secondary effects to their attacks. Diddy can lose the barrels, Wario loses his cycle, Samus's armor falls off and can be used as a weapon, etc. etc.
It just makes the game seem so much more complete, and real. I love it.
