 It's Meta Knight, whose introduction was delayed for some reason. He's Kirby's...rival?

If he's unlockable, then it will probably be from Adventure Mode.

I think the reason why he was delayed might be to do with that Nintendo event in Japan happening on the 5th September.

Not necessarily. The "reason" might still be he's unlockable. I'm more curious as to why they waited this long to unveil him.

I'm pretty sure if he was unlockable he wouldn't have been in the trailer or on the site at all.
In any case, it's about time. Now our known character roster is complete (except for Snake, who won't be on the site). I just hope they don't do a "Special Moves" update for him... THAT would be lame. (They probably will).
Do you think Meta Knight will talk? I kinda hope he doesn't and I doubt he will... but he has to make SOME kind of sound doesn't he?

We heard is voice in the original trailer... it was the voice from the Japanese version of the anime.
And... why won't Snake be on there, exactly?

Because he's a 3rd-Party secret character, whilst Meta Knight is a 1st/2nd Party character.
