The previous game, Super Smash Bros. Melee, featured Pokémon Stadium, but it’s been upgraded for this game into Pokémon Stadium 2.
This time around, you’ll see guest Pokémon appearing in the background.Ordinarily, it’s a fairly orthodox stage when nothing special is happening. But as time passes, the terrain transforms into four different types: "Electric," "Ground," "Flying," and "Ice."When it transforms into Ice, things get extremely slippery!A mountain of earth appears in the middle of the screen for the Ground stage! On the Flying stage, everyone’s jump abilities get boosted! For these four transformations, we’ve chosen types that were not present in Melee.
Terrain that changes suddenly makes fights excitingly unpredictable.

Wow!!!!!!!!! Finally! I thought it would be Halberd, but maybe not. Maybe tomorrow and something to do with the Subspace Emmisary! Ground, Ice, Flying and where is the Electric Image? And is that Cubone in the background? Is he a pokemon from a pokeball?

The stadium itself with no transformations looks very cool, even though it would have been nice if it was set during the day for a change. The amount of transformations in this new stage may be short, but what I'm loving is that their layouts don't seem to be copied from other stages and that the terrain does affect the battle with its actual elements.
A friend of mine used to think Diglett's Cave would have been a good real place to be selectable, but now that we're seeing a Dugtrio there, I don't think it will happen.

^ Is'nt that just an open window into the hut and you can just see the calander inside?
I like the detail on the stages as well. I can see the end of an Fishing Rod going into a hole in the ice near the calander and some bones and a fossil in the ground stage.
This looks to be a good stage, I like how the transformations seem to really affect the stage (unlike the one in SSBM). With ice making it slippery and flying making you jump higher.

The Cubone and Dugtrio are just background characters, I'm sure. Still, glad to finally see some of the transformations! Not as many as I would have liked. I wonder if we're going to get the "classic stages" again. The name seems to suggest that we might

First thing I thought when I saw it was 'Pokemon Stadium 2' with different types of transformations was that Pokemon Stadium has to be returning. Second thing I thought was that the flying transformation sounds awesome.

Pokemon Stadium was one of my favorite stages in Melee and I think I'm going to like this one even more. The Ice and Flying stages are nothing short of brilliant.

I love it that they added Pokemon in the backround. Maybe they will do stuff?

The Cubone and Dugtrio are just background characters, I'm sure. Which screen shot is the one with Cubone in? I can't really see it in any of them.

So what does the Ground stage do? It's awesome that it became a fossil dig, but a desert would've been cool too. Nonetheless, Dugtrio=awesome. Do the Pokemon attack?

I'm thinking the dirt mound might play an important part - maybe you can sink into it, or get knocked into it, and it moves, or something.

Skarmory is in the Flying stage, btw. He's between the fan on the far left and the middle fan. He looks like one, but he ain't. So... enjoy his cameo
