Well, I didn't mean Sheik was as much a clone of Zelda, as she/he is of Zero Suit Samus...(WHAT DID HE SAY?!)
Yeah, you heard me, think about it. Weapon of choice? Whip.
Movestyle? Acrobatic.
Appearance? Tough.
If they end up not being clones though, they will be strikingly similar.

Zelda was a better character overall compared to Sheik, but yet (s)he should not be removed. While the characters in brawl take on the apperences of TPs characters, remeber that links hair is blond in Brawl and Brown in TP, they represent the sires as a whole not as one game. And yes I know that Link is using the clawshot in Brawl instead of the hookshot, But thats really just because the modles already made.

Link's hair was muddy blonde in TP. But besides all that, I am certain that Zero Suit Samus is supposed to be a replacement for Shiek.
While it would be a shame to see the end of Shiek's reign as my favourite Smash character, I seriously don't see what s/he could do that ZS Samus can't. Whip, projectile, speed and agility... Of course the animations will be different - ZS Samus probably won't vanish when using her Up+B move - but they seem so similar in terms of stats and movesets that not only does it seem likely that one is replacing the other, but I actually fail to see the point of having both in there.
Aside from appeasing a few fans pre-release, of course. Because we all know that as soon as the game's released, any concerns will be completely forgotten, just as they were when Melee was released.

Zss Will prorbably move more flidly than Shiek. More of the difference between playing as say Marth Or Mario. And For Hair lets Compare. TP SSBB Please ignore the fact their hair part in different directions.

Well done. You used a darkly-lit screenshot to show Link's hair colour. Now let's look at some Twilight Princess official artwork... LinkIf you still think it's brown, you're a communist. EDIT: Took out the table-stretching image. Sorry guys.

I was gonna say - that screenie also showed Link's shirt as being pink and his face as being bright red. Hardly an ideal graphic.

And For Hair lets Compare. TP SSBB Please ignore the fact their hair part in different directions. Eff their hair...they look completely different. the TP model's face is chubbier, his nose is rounder, his eyes go up higher and his lips are wider. Goes to show that TP's not an exact base.

Fine does this make you feel better. Thank you Tei for being the one not to complain about the screenshot. That was what I was getting at was the modal isn't pure TP. And Kirbychu Most if not all the Artwork showed Link with Blond Hair, In game however it was different.

I would say that Sakurai's updates pretty much confirm that it is the Link from TP, and not just a no-name representing all Links as one. " The design of this particular Link comes from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess." " The design for Link is taken from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, so his special moves have also been designed a bit differently." EDIT: Come to think of it, Link's SSBB model is actually closer to TP's official artwork than his TP model is.

Then I guess the characters' appearances are based more on official artwork than graphics from their respective games.

Probably.
But my point is if he's not all the way TP that and Zelda's use of items that weren't in TP, the fact that Shiek is assessed differently than ZeroSamus, And that Shiek can be different enough to ZeroSamus. That there is no evidence to support that Shiek is gone at all. Heck (s)he may come back with a revised moveset anyway.

But Link is all the way TP. His look is based directly on TP's official art and ALL of the items he uses to attack have been replaced by their TP counterparts. We don't know anything about Zelda yet, other than that she's using her TP design. Since Link was entirely TP-ified, I'm expecting the same from Zelda.

Well, notice the new Zelda has brown hair...not blonde. It's definitely the TP model.
As for her moves....who knows. She'll probably have the light arrows.
Link is also, without a doubt, based on TP.
I don't think Sheik will be in, unless she's a different character, as this Zelda has nothing to do with OOT.

Sheik is still in there. Wtf could Zelda's Down B become? And, regardless, the transformation mechanic isn't mimicked by Samus completely. With Samus it's meant more as a crippling concern, because she now has to play defensively and on her toes. With Zelda and Sheik, it was like water and oil: one was very slow and powerful, the other quick and powerless.
I can't see why just because Zamus is in there we have to lose Sheik. That's like saying because we had Kirby we can't have Jigglypuff, or because Pikachu is already a nimble small critter we can't have Diddy. I'm pretty sure they did not care if characters were somewhat similar in Melee, and I highly doubt they'll care again in Brawl.
Besides, Sheik is like.. the number one fan pick from Melee. They wouldn't axe such a wildly popular character like that.

Easy answer, remove Sheik and give her moveset to Tetra. If you dont like that, how about having TP Zelda, use her Down-B to turn into Tetra, that makes as much sence as havng TP Zelda turn into OoT Sheik . As for Zeldas new down-B I bet they pic the light arrows, Zelda´s recurring movement in WW and TP (Or charging a giant ball of light energy above her head as in Four Swords advenures)
