I'm still in this. I'm abandoning the internet once Brawl is released in Japan to avoid spoilers.... so I'm countin' on you!

Good to hear. This actually brings up a point I should ask you all who are still interested: if you're going to be avoiding the internet at large, do you plan on avoiding NinDB as well? If so, I'll need your e-mail addresses so I can send you the FAQ without you having to go onto places that will have spoilers (as NinDB undoubtedly will). And if you plan on sending me your e-mail addresses, via PM would be the most ideal (as posted in the first post on this thread), so that way if you prefer privacy (like me) you won't be releasing your information in public.
I also promise not to give your e-mail address out to anyone else, and I'll send everyone the link to the FAQ individually to avoid any issues.
I'll add this information to the first post, as well.

Assuming that there won't be any spoiler warnings in topic titles and posts or whatnot...I'll probably be staying away from this place...so: goombajoe@comcast.net.

Okay! I've got the URL for the FAQ set up on my Graffiti.net account. Since I can't predict what it'll be for GameFAQs or NeoSeekers, this is most likely the one you guys will be utilizing. This will be especially handy for those of you who intend to avoid the MB altogether, and I will be sending out private messages containing the URLs TWO WEEKS before the game is released to every member that has signed up. But if you want to get ahold of it now, the URL is here:
home.graffiti.net/rollingcutter/SSBBAnonyFAQ.txt
The main post will also be updated to have the URL. Peace, doods.

Bookmarked it. Assuming that the faq will then appear in the url once it gets close to the release date, I'll check the bookmark then.
Thanks!

No problem. ^^
The FAQ will be updated on an "as I find out" basis. So if the unlockables get spoiled early like with Melee, then soon enough the FAQ will go up with as much as I know. (which won't be much. But still.)

Yeah, this kind of went with the dinosaurs. (Hey! I finally understand what that term means!)

Errr...sorry.
Unlocking characters is actually really easily accomplished, once I figured out the means and methods. Some of which can even be done accidentally - somehow, I've unlocked Sonic twice without meeting any of the prerequisites listed on the Dojo, and I can't figure out what the deal is with that. (On two different save files, that is, since you can't carry over from one Wii to another.)
So I just really don't see a point in doing it...unless you guys really want it, in which case, whatevs. XD

It would probably end up like, "To unlock Secret Character 1 have him join your team in Subspace Emissary like every other damn motherwizzleing hobohead in the game. Capisce?" That's pretty much it. Only four secret characters in the game fail to join the party by virtue of going from Point A to Point B: Wolf, Jigglypuff and Toon Link, who only appear in previous chapters of SSE once the game has been completed, and Ganondorf, whom only joins you if you save Link and Zelda from Subspace with Kirby. That's all there is, really =\ I could do a really short FAQ on how to find those four characters anonymously, but to be honest - not knowing who you're unlocking by that point is kinda silly.
