Should this have gone in the SSB board? Oh well.
Anyways, I recently bought it and am trying to unlock Mewtwo. I have this game for my Wii and am wondering if my Wii will be able to handle the game running over night? (As to unlock Mewtwo you need to play a total of 20 hours in Vs. Melee mode)
Will it overheat? Or will my Wii withstand the power of a game...running for a large amount of time?

It might, but I'm not an expert. I remember leaving my GCN on many a night. Good memories.
One word of advice, the more controllers you plug in, the less time you will need to unlock Mewtwo. Just saving you the lengthy time.

Just saving you the lengthy time. Unfortunately, I'm a man of few dollars. Therefore, I've thrown the controller option out the window Anyways, I'll try it. On a side note, does anyone know if it still counts when the game is paused?

Your Wii will last. My sister has literally left it on for days and it still works just fine.

Paused time does not count. It has to be actual in-play per-player time. That's why the controller trick works.

Also fast melee will take only half the time.

Well, I did it, left the Wii on for ten hours last night and there was no sign of it giving in on me. Also, my Pichu had 688 KO's He also managed to KO Capt. Falcon once...

Hahaha, I remember doing that to unlock Mewtwo. The first time around, I literally played 99 minutes of time matches more than 5 times alone with two controllers. I remember having to fight on Icicle Mountain for 99 minutes while the second player did nothing and I kept fighting two other CPU-controlled players. Now I leave the game on overnight with two controllers and then self-destruct the first thing in the morning.

Also fast melee will take only half the time. Is that really true? I never knew that.

Also fast melee will take only half the time. Is that really true? I never knew that. Yes, I think so... depending on how you read that, since I now release its not that clear. Basically you can do 2 minutes of in-game-time in 1 minute in Fast Melee, yet the game still counts it as 2. So if you battled entirely in fast move, you'd only need half the amount of real time battling.
