The legendary mercenary makes his miraculous Smash debut! This law-breaking news roared around the world.
He comes fully loaded with cool and showy weapons that only he could possess. Couple them with these different worlds, and it will clear a path to new horizons.

Great! A triple update to end out the week! All featuring Snake/MGS updates!
What a week! A item from a game not many people would know about, Wi-Fi play confirmed (and more hinted at), info on single player enemies, another (not very spectular update by the way) 4th gen pokemon and now triple Snake/MGS update. This shall makes up for yesterday don't you think?
The only feature that has not been pointed out is he is a starting character or not.

You know if Snake is still hidden, other fighters who show up could be hidden as well! We could get the entire cast before the game comes out.

This is excellent... I didn't expect much from today... and instead I got 3 Solid Snake related updates.
-His icon is 17, that's kind of a let down actually. I was hoping his icon would go after Pit's. The only one left is 13, which is assumed to be Mr. Game & Watch. -Obviously this raises alot of questions about the starting roster. -How is he going to choke characters like Kirby and Ice Climbers... who are much shorter than him? -That's a totally different profile picture than the one we got on the old site. -I like the logo on the box. It's different than the one we saw in the trailer, I wonder if he'll have different logos for the boxes. (Likely) -His profile is in the Newcomers section. I kinda figured there would be a 3rd party section.
NOW that's it. Every known character has been revealed on the site. Anybody who's revealed from this point on will be somebody we haven't seen at all.

NinjaRygar:
- Icon #17 is a complete shock to me. Unless they have a 19 or something. - I'm not aware of the starter thing. We'll eventually get all characters anyway. - Characters are, in SSB series, not in scale. Kirby is supposed to be only 20cm, or 8 inches, tall; compared to Mario whose height is around 150 cm. - Huh? I didn't notice about the pic change. - Or different logos on different sides. - A 3rd party newcomer IS a newcomer.
Actually... I guess they're being a bit crazy on this. Putting a character who's majorly in PS2/PS3 games in a Nintendo console game!? (Although, if you look at the Nintendo people themselves, they do actually own and play PS series games. Say, for Miyamoto himself, GC was the last 128-bit console he got despite he made GC games.)

Yeah I know they're not to scale, but even so, in Smash Brothers, Kirby probably only stands up to Snake's waist. Same with Meta Knight. To Choke him, he'd either have to lift Kirby up or kneel down. Not only that, Kirby, Meta Knight and Jigglypuff don't have necks!
How will he choke Bowser?! Can he even reach around his shell without ending up in a polygon clipping NIGHTMARE?
Maybe I'm going a little nuts here... but this is seriously IT. The only KNOWN stuff left is...
Kirby's Final Smash Mario Curcuit Shadow Moses
That's all. Every single update from now till launch besides those 3 will be TOTALLY NEW. I suppose special moves updates for vets will be boring updates... but let's face it, as Mario proved, we haven no idea what to expect there. It doesn't look like returning items will get their own updates... which is good THOSE would be lame.

That choke move must be Snake's grab. Using CQC (that's Close Quarters Combat), he'll throw his opponents of the edge of the stage.

I'm a bit confused. Is he hidden or not. Heck, now it's anything goes.
But, I think Sakurai did a greagt job on his moves. Definatly some nice specials that's for sure.

That choke move must be Snake's grab. Using CQC (that's Close Quarters Combat), he'll throw his opponents of the edge of the stage. Or slam 'em down like in the games (or even slit their throats! ) Anyways, I like the CQC aspects that they (hopefully) threw in. I never mastered it in MGS3, so hopefully I will here.

CQC?
Well, if he is unlocked from the start, then we have 19 character (21 with the other two). If not we are back to square one.
