 It’s Mr. Resetti from Animal Crossing. At long last he makes his appearance! Th-there he is!!!I’m just going to come out and say it: when Mr. Resetti appears, all he does is lecture you. Whether you’ve reset the game or not, he just lectures...
Huh? What’s that, Mr. Resetti? Oh! Umm... Sorry about that... Uh... Umm... I suppose you would. My mistake...      (...This is so long...)
With Mr. Resetti, you can enjoy these terribly appreciated lectures even in Smash. He’s an Assist Trophy like no other.  |

The AC humans look odd, they look so happy when Resetti is doing his lecture.

Does he actually do anything (beside give you a lecture)? Because if he doesn't this is the worst update so far! The Goldeen of AT's if you will.

Look at the screenshots. The screen zooms in on him, but the battle continues, and then it slowly zooms out again as he calms down. So nobody can see what is going on.
Sadly, I think the last screen with Kirby and Pikachu is just a joke, and he doesn't actually have any sleep-inducing properties.

If Duck Hunt Dog makes the cut as an Assist Trophy, he won't just laugh. He would summon ducks to be shot down along with the fighters then he laughs at the fighters losing.
I find it interesting that 2 of 3 AC trophies in Melee have some roles in Brawl. K.K. Slider has his song and his special appearance at 8 PM on Satuday in Smashville. Mr. Resetti's an AT. Where does that leave Tom Nook, the third AC trophy in Melee? Honestly, I don't think he would be left out as just in the background. I noticed that all the AC characters have reappeared in other spots in Smashville in many different updates and screenshots yet Tom Nook was only in one screenshot? Red herring if you ask me.
So far we have the following AC updates - a stage, an item, a song, and now an AT, all that's left is a playable character. Hopefully that's Tom Nook (or a human Animal Crosser).
Anyway, I love this AT idea! Its pretty funny and original. Not all ATs have to help attack your opponents.

These screenshots remind me how pretty the characters look compared to melee. Also the 7th picture shows Mario doing his original forward air kick it seems.

Just disproves one thing... You don't BECOME an Assist Trophy.

Awesome. Really really awesome.
Regarding the last shot, it seems that Resetti is still realy angry at the shot - maybe if you run in on him in the early stages of the assist, when he is at his angriest, he starts to lecture you specifically, putting you to sleep? Maybe.

Nah, the last shot looks like it's just before he leaves. He always angrily shouts something along those lines right before leaving.

Yeah true. Also  But no changes in the PAL languages, just subtitles (apparently GRAAR in French is "Grrrr") EDIT: Resetii's Spanish name is Rese T. Thats cool. Wait, its Tom Nook! In Nookington outfit! Red Herring disproved?  |
