So far the only differences between the US and UK site have been these videos, and the fact that Devil is called Demon over here.

Metal Gear Rex is from Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Ray is from Metal Gear Solid 2. He also mentions a newer Metal Gear. I'll bet it's Metal Gear GEKKOU from Metal Gear Solid 4.

Whooo!!! These videos are great! If you don't mind my asking though...what does everyone mean by Starfox's taunt?

There's an easter egg where you can trigger a conversation between the StarFox team while playing as Fox in Melee. I've never actually tried it myself, so I have no idea how to do it.

Cool stage. It's the first stage were you're almost forced to knock foes upward. I like what Sakurai has done here.
But arg, why won't these videos work.

I think you're supposed to press down on the control pad really fast. If you do it right the Starfox crew starts talking. Only works on Fox's stages: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwf8__gf4sYSearching for an example I also found this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqUs5iF2ZaQ&mode=related&search=

This is just so epic. Imagine for a moment:
Snake: Who is this Marth guy? Campbell: Is a very skillfull swordman from a far away country. Snake: A pretty boy with a sword... reminds me of Raiden somehow... Campbell: Be careful Snake, as his sword can strike from long distances. Approach carefully and neutralize him from behind. Snake: I wish I could stay so pretty.
Repeat that with each character.
Instant videogaming humor classics.

I now understand that including a non-Nintendo character in this game was an excellent idea, because this gave the developers the chance to introduce the other characters with the help of these full-motion videos.

The Fox easter egg is accomplished by taking Fox or Falco onto Corneria or Venom and tapping left and right on the D-Pad rapidly (alternating between the two: leftrightleftrightleftright etc.). You'll know it works when Fox/Falco crouch down and start shaking; eventually they'll stand back up and the other three members of Star Fox have dialogue. Slippy and Peppy are guaranteed to show up, but Fox will speak if you're Falco and Falco will speak if you're Fox. This works in any mode, and it only works once per character--but you can go into Training Mode or Melee Mode and use any combination of Fox or Falco players to accomplish this. If you get hit while you're in the "crouching down" stage, you won't summon your wingmates and you won't be able to try again. The length of time it takes to tap the D-Pad and how long Fox/Falco stays crouched down varies.
PS: The Snake videos are cool. Will elaborate more later, must go back to work.

Well, this videos have warmed to the idea of Snake in brawl, but I still dont like all the atention he is getting (Its almost as if the game were called “Super Smash Brothers Brawl feturing snake, Solid Snake“)

Granted, Snake has gotten a lot of hype and favor for this game, but it serves a purpose. Of all the things nobody thought would happen, a 3rd Party character's inclusion is probably the biggest one that has happened. Not to mention MGS has a completely different fanbase, so Sakurai is working as much as he can to build the hype and draw them over--could you imagine if all the MGS players out there who didn't play an SSB game before suddenly jumped into the pool because Snake is in Brawl? That'd only be good news for Nintendo.
As for the videos, I find them to be very in-character: Snake wanting to eat Yoshi and get naked to chase after Samus is so hilarious and right alongside MGS' more adult-oriented humor.
