<Cook Kirby>Kirby is quite the glutton. He apparently even does his own cooking.
Welcome to Kirby’s cooking class! The cook puts on his hat!He takes out a giant pot!Dinner’s ready! He rings his bell.He tosses his enemies into the pot...Simmers them gently and deliberately...OK! Order up!Once you take out the stock, your enemy gets blasted off.But is that a real dish? Something like stone soup, maybe? Can you put just anything in there? Are you sure?

Thank you, thank you. I am a genius, thank you (in advance) for pointing that out. So characters are automatically drawn into the pot? And items are produced too? Sexy. EDIT: Hmmm, bizarre - music only on the Japnese page for his update: www.smashbros.com/jp/music/images/sound071009a.swf

Kirby looks pretty scary in that first screenshot. Like he's possesed or something.
Glad to finally get the details of this. I've been waiting to see this since the first trailer.

They are from this Japan-Only DS title. Satoru Iwata uses it when he cooks at his home.

Hmm... I wonder what that last bit is about. I knew it would happen though... Kirby's Final Smash comes around, but the burning-alive animations have gone. At least Kirby's animation is authentic to KSS He even bangs the pans and uses the salt. Is this everything from the first video now? Unless Wario's FS is a nuke fart or something...

Is this everything from the first video now? Unless Wario's FS is a nuke fart or something... Yes, everything from the first video. And almost everything from the second video, except for the Mario Kart stage and the Crawling game mechanic. Those are the only things left that we haven't seen covered on the site yet. EDIT: This is a Babelfish translation of the bit before the music: "By the way. That excessively meaning there is no relationship, it does, but Also such a cute tune was prepared." It's a ridiculously bad translation, but I think it equates to this: "By the way, this has nothing to do with the game, but this theme was so cute that I had to put it in the update." So I'm pretty sure that this was just Sakurai being silly, and a nice little extra for the Japanese readers. Lucky guys,

Last caption on that page has me laughing in stitches:- "Let's come with blowing off when Dashi is taken".

Nice for this to finally be shown on the website. The items in this are a nice touch, it gives a little bit of danger to Kirby if one of his opponants grabs an item such as the Maximum Tomato and recovers health.
The Japanese translation is crazy! The title of that update is "Carbi: The last cutting." It sounds like some sort of crazy self mutilation game!

Well, at least this is out of the way, and it works like Cook in the games (items pop out).
