Where exactly is the full scan? I'd like to see it.

All stuff from the trailer. I think the last two are definitely Ness aerial attacks, but the first one is strange... Rope Snake still could be an item.

Below the rope snake pic is a footnote and it says something Lucas using more things apart from PSI, and points to the rope snake pic. Notice how all the newcomer pics (both DOJO and Famitsu) don't involve items. And it doesn't mention the rope snake being and item anywhere.

It's a friggin attack, people need to stop saying it's some sort of yoyo replacement or throw or that dumbass theory up there. Err... you do realise that nobody here actually said anything like that, right? I'm hoping this adds more weight to the "Ness is still in" camp. I still suspect Ness has been relegated to unlockable status, as he was many years ago... This is a great move though. Sakurai's really going for it this time! Bleeding the games dry for inspiration. Awesome.

Technically only the first picture has Lucas performing that same attack in the trailer. In the trailer Lucas does the same move but on the Smashville stage not on the BoE.

Um, hello? Those shots of Lucas are obviously excerpts from a magazine scan. Where's the whole thing?

I don't know how some people still think Ness might not get in! I mean come on, nobody said that one of the 12 would be removed. Exept a mad guy who got everything he said wrong and we belived him.By the way Lucaus is nothing like Ness. He moves slower, has a snake rope, moves are in a hexagon and are slightly different and has a weird hairstyle.

The PK Thunder thing has been done, so yeah, the points about the Snake Rope being his Up B are taken. So what would his normal B attacks other than that be?

I love this site! Without it I would have never known all this new information, as I am too lazy to find it by myself.

Okay, so I did some quick looking around, and I think this could be Lucas's moveset. Just a shot: B: PSI Rockin'/Love -- A large burst of PSI energy that is more or less directional Side B: Rope Snake -- pulls in opponents or grabs ledges Up B: Down B: PSI Shield -- absorbs energy and projectile attacks at reduced damage; doesn't heal HP or anything, but does create a static field that damages those who get close. the more it has absorbed it has more powerful the shock is.

I expect PSI Rockin' to be Ness' Final Smash, if he is in.

Still, this gets me thinking. It looks like Ike is a lot like Marth, yet his B-moves are very different. Chances are Lucas will have very different B-moves aswell. Like Ness, Lucas doesn't learn PK Fire/Thunder in his game. So either he'll get new moves he actually knows, or he'll borrow moves like Ness. If it's the latter, atleast I can hope for Snake Rope as tether recovery. I fucking knew it. Lucas rules. I also believe PK Love won't be Lucas' Final Smash, instead.... WARNINGWARNINGSPOILERSPOILER MOTHER3 SPOILER and dont quote you idiot : ...a scene at the end of Chapter 3 in Mother 3 has Lucas whistling to summon Drago('s wife?) and Drago Junior. Lucas whistles again and Drago proceeds to annihilate the pigman army. I'm betting this'll be his Final Smash: he'll whistle and summons Drago who will bring chaos on the stage by tail whipping and chewing shit apart.

That would be a very awesome Final Smash for Lucas, I do agree.
Well, debate seems to rage over whether Lucas and Ness can co-exist in harmony. The moves seem different enough, but not too different. Their animations seem different enough, but not too different.
I've said it before... Return of the Clones? Perhaps we'll see more Luigi-like clones... similar moves, different stats and animations, and a few attack variants thrown in for good measure.

That I think is the bigger concern than just their movesets..
