The spring isn't only in Casino Night Zone. It's also in many other stages. Well, of course... But Casino Night Zone defined the Spring. ;D

I like Sonics moves so far. The only problem is that I can't think what other attacks Sonic really has. Maybe something from Sonic the Fighters... Or Sonic Battle...

To my recollection, Casino Night Zone didn't even contain that many springs. Spring Yard Zone was full of 'em, though... that was one of the bounciest stages in the series.

I think I agree with >B is spin attack, VB is Spin Dash. We'll probably have to get our hands on it to understand. The spring thing is nice, but if one is left on the ground, does that mean he can't recover?
EDIT:Anyone else notice we've had 4 character updates in a row?

The Forward B when he's not running could just be a small, light roll. Maybe you need to dash before using it, just like Sonic 1. As far as the Spin Dash is concerned, that's exactly how I wanted it. Down B and everything. BRAVO!
The Up B gives him insaaaane altitude. Prediction: Mid-air usage procures a diagonal spring. I like that other characters can use it briefly too; nice touch.
His Standard B, my guess, is either Sonic Wind or the Top Spin. The Top Spin gives him a THIRD dashing attack, which is kinda lame. I think Sonic Wind is the way to go.
Also, could it be the Homing Dash? Or could his Forward B act as such?

possible Standard Special:
-Sonic Wave projectile from Sonic Battle. -Sonic Drive attack from Sonic Battle in which he throws out a ring and homes in on it. -Throwing a ring at the enemy like a missle. This could have roots in Knuckles Chaotix, or be referred to as a conceptual attack from the canned Sonic Xtreme.

The playable demo confirms his Standard B: Homing Attack.
So Sonic's moves are as follows:
B: Homing Attack, where he curls into a ball and dives at the opponent Forward B: Spin Dash, where Sonic rolls along the ground Up B: Spring Down B: REAL Spin Dash, where Sonic can charge a spin
