So...is E for All still going on, or is it over now? Over now I believe.

It ended on Saturday or Sunday...can't quite remember. Power outage in Nintendo and EA's booths for the last hour or two cut the event a tad short.

Realistically speaking, since magazines lag so far behind the internet, their announcement may be "SSBB Demo playable at E for All!"
Of course, I'm willing to keep an open mind (and I'd love it to be something we haven't heard before), but magazines don't deliver game information punctually. They're a moot point in the Information Age. =\

That would necessitate magazines to be smart, though. I can't think of a single US gaming rag that has that kind of forethought.

So now its over, could we possibly get some big arse 'everything we know' thread? Because theres lots of little stuff I (and others) have probably missed. I'd like to see this, by the way... everyone else didn't seem to notice. Flip did a superb job in the first post of this thread, but is it up to date? Will come in very handy when updating.

But seriously, the guys that took over do XBOX Magazine and they ALWAYS have demos. EDIT: I'm gonna eat my own words. The issue just came out, and there's no demo. They even say the release is "still a month away..." Holy crap NP got even worse.

Game Informer is even farther behind than Nintendo Power! XD I think it was mid-June this year they started covering all the "rad, new information" that we learned in the NintendoWorld 06 trailer. That kind of tardiness doesn't make a little snippet of creator commentary every couple issues worthwhile.

They wouldn't have know this by the time it came to print. They are truly behind if they mess up again.

That kind of tardiness doesn't make a little snippet of creator commentary every couple issues worthwhile. And yet they still manage to get some exclusive content before anyone else. Just this latest issue, they covered Brutal Legend before the internet even got to learn the title of the game, because they were learning of the title through Game Informer. The coverage came complete with screenshots that still haven't hit the rest of the internet yet. They similarly got exclusive screens and info on Fallout 3 just a few months ago. Oh, and not to mention that it was from Game Informer that we saw the first screenshots ever from a Wii game: Red Steel. It was exclusive to the magazine for a while before the internet press could do anything besides say "Red Steel, the first mature Wii game we've heard about, is covered in this month's Game Informer". So anyways, yes, they're behind sometimes, just like any other gaming magazine. But they do have exclusives.

If and when I am available to goof off tonight (I've still got quite a few things to do before I can settle down), I will compose this "SUPER-TOPIC."
Is there some way to index this stuff? Like... people click "Characters" and they are brought to the characters section?
