Update #127: New Pork City

Huh, I was always under the impression that Pokey was the final boss of MOTHER3. I guess it's Claus, though...Starmen.net has some neat sprites in regards to that. Claus looks cool with that Power Ranger helmet.

As for the level itself, I was kinda hoping that there wouldn't be another OMGHUEG course, but this one at least looks interesting, unlike Temple. And Ultimate Chimera is a nice little addition to this kind of level, which just never friggin' ends...

EDIT: Apparently, that Pokey statue DiU mentioned earlier is a boss in MOTHER3. Maybe that thing moves around and attacks, too?

Yikes guys, you sure are going spoiler crazy!! The Porky thing wasn't never a big spoiler to me because I suspected that since the days that MOTHER 3 was called "The Fall of the Pig King" .

Now I can say it ,Pokey would make a Kick ass playable character in brawl. and he deserves, because being one of the very few returning characters in the series (and a Villain) just think of him with his Spider Mech, his moves would be:

B.-Bottle rocket/(Works like Samus Missiles)

B>.-Thore into you (works similar to Luigi's Missile, you charge and get launch in that direction causing great damage to anyone he hits .

Bv.- Stinky Gas; A cloud of gas is comes out from the Spider Mech and remains some time in the stage, anybody that gets in the cloud (except Pokey) gets his energy slowly drained.

B-Up.-Scape pod; Pokey gets launched from the Spider Mech in a small bubble pod, the spider mech explodes causing damage to anyone near to it, when the scape Pod reaches maximum altitude a small parachute comes out of it tho help descent, and when he gets to ground the spider Mech grows back.

Pokey would be the opposite of Zelda, a Heavy character whose standard attacks do very little damage but are really fast (like Metaknights)

And His final Smash could be a Gygas Summon or something from MOTHER 3 that I don't know (I haven't spoiled that much from the game)

Ooh, nice moveset, Flint! I can totally see that coming to pass...but at the same time, Pokey would be a perfect Boss character to represent MOTHER, too, right alongside Petey Piranha.

Also, you don't need to keep using the [ color=003366 ] tag each time you start a new paragraph; it works identically to bold, italic or underline where everything encompassed between the starting and ending tags is affected by the code, including gaps between paragraphs. So for what you did above, you could have entered the starting code once at the beginning (before "Now I can say it..."), and then the ending code once at the very end of your post to make the entire thing spoilertag'd.

I like the fact the viking ship appears as one of the elements of the stage.

Holy hobo, that site also has spritesheet of..... Pokey's apparently removed death scenes. Interesting they left that stuff hidden in the game's data.

Not to derail but apparently....., according to this video (linky), Giygas... or something similar was to be returning in Mother 3 aswell (nothing TOO spoilery, just a video of 'unused enemy sprites', including a giant creepy Claus head). Ofcourse it could be a hack, Japs love their hacks, though I must say the music fits that 'battle' better then the boss it's used for now. Also worth reading the crazy theories in the comments section.

Spoilerssss..... Well, it's an interesting ending. However, judging by Pokey's text (someone's translated it all on GameFAQs), the insinuation seems to be that Giygas resides inside Pokey's body. Of course, the translation might be lame, or I might simply be reading too much into his "lived for 1000 years or 10000 years" speech.

I was thinking he might have floaty platform or something. Who knows. I was thinking his entry would be riding from a Flying pokemon (like when you use Fly in the games). Bit of a random thought.

Oh, and New Pork City looks just like if Poeky made it (the town in general). Defiantly a town of gluttony and fun.
