If Little Mac really is in either as an Assist Trophy or playable character, then I assume that he would be wearing blue pants and have blonde-hair with some cowlicks. Even though, the SNES boxer wasn't named in the SNES Super Punch-Out!!, the SNES title takes place after the NES Punch-Out!! titles, because Gabby Jay's only opponent he won against was Glass Joe, which was his trainer. Also, the SNES boxer being named "Mac" or "Little Mac" in EA's GCN version of Fight Night Round 2 might have been officially named by Nintendo. Another reason why I assume SNES Mac would appear in SSBB, is that he has more potential than the NES Mac. SNES Mac has the Knock Out Punch, the Rapid Punch, the Counter Punch, and the Power Up (which increases his speed and power).

Except probably the motion sensor bomb seeing as it's the proximity mine used in Goldeneye (which was made by the now-Microsoft-owned Rare). Which kind of sucks, since I liked that items inclusion. The concept of a Proximity Mine isn't owned by Rare, though--Nintendo just can't use the one designed to look like it came from Goldeneye or Perfect Dark. It could just as easily be made to look original to SSB, or maybe Metal Gear Solid (if they appear in the series).

Hey... you've got to be the same parrothead that commented on my Smash Bros. Dream Fight pic on DA a few days ago. Small world... I wouldn't mind either design for Little Mac. I was hoping he'd be a playable fighter (and thus, potentially have both color schemes, at least). I am crossing my fingers and hoping it's due to ignorance that Knuckle Joe was confused with Little Mac. And, Little Mac, if an assist trophy, is a character I really hope is not a sprite.

Someone should go to E for All and try to summon Mac, and film it.
