STADIUM Features

Now that Stadium has returned with Home Run Contest, I was wondering if they may add more Stadium minigames, or change current ones to make them easier and add replay value. Target Test could return (my worst nightmare ), as may Multi Man mode.

I think they should take out 15-minute melee, I mean I could NEVER accomplish that. Or...they could make a Multiplayer Multi Man Melee! (say THAT ten times fast )

So, what are your thoughts? Will more be added/changed?

• Multi Man Melee gets it's name changed to Stadium Brawl.
  
• Bring back Board on the platforms.
  
• Games focusing on something other than Fighting.
  
• Training Mode actually teaches you how to fight.

I was disappointed to see Board The Platforms gone in Melee, so I hope its back. After all... SSB was a homage of sorts to classic Nintendo platformers! Why remove it?

Board the platforms was awesome.
Here's hoping for a 2-4 player board the platforms VS mode: A caged stage with one or two boards and standing on one gives you points over time. I guess what I'm trying to say is that a King of the Hill mode would be kinda cool.

Anyways, I'd like them to add mini games such as WarioWare, or like in the WarioWare level (you know how they have dodge and all that.) It would be fun to have over 50 to play when you are bored or something.

I'd like to see Race to the Finish actually be playable in the Stadium

A Wario Ware montage game would be fun. I also have always wanted stuff that uses items:

1. Pokemon Battles, where only Pokemon deal damage
2. Running across traps with a Starman as long as you can, continually getting new stars
3. Destroying environments with the Hammer
4. Crossing pits and obstacles with some sort of flying item
5. Guarding your fort with Bob-ombs
etc. etc.

The game lends itself really well to addictive Game and Watch style games

I'd love it if there was a Boss Crush mode--I imagine not every character will get the chance to face off against each boss in The Subspace Emissary. So There should be a mode where you can either fight one boss at a time with no character restrictions, or to be able to take on all bosses in a row (think All-Star Mode from Melee, except you fight the Bosses instead of other player characters).

I would also like to see the return of Board the Platforms. Why not? It was always good for a blast.

Knowing Sakurai, that's probably in the game.

And how about being able to use your Mii to fight, and you can chose the moves your Mii uses to attack? They would all be random made-up moves, like they did with Fox and C. Falcon.

Stadium=/=Subspace Emissary so there sould be another wire frame thingy.

Also, what's up with the edit? Spud didn't say anything about what you said unless you thought Spud was Starfoxroy. Also, if you were saying "I'll let Spud do it but not Roy because I'm playing favorites" then NO. Not to be mean, but lets try to to be rude to other members. Sure, it's stealing your style, but they do it because they like it. Imitation is the highest level of flattery, or however they say it. Sorry to get on my soapbox but just try not to be blatenly rude to other members. But if I misunderstood, then I'm sorry.

No, Spud didn't say anything, I just happened to notice it...and yes, you understood me just fine, I'm playing favorites. I like Spud and I don't like StarfoxRoy, simple as that. And I don't mind being rude, either, I don't get that luxury, um...anywhere else, really. My world is a frustrating place to live and internet anonymity is awesome.

The Snag trophies bonus stage type from Melee's Classic Mode could come back as a Stadium option, too. This time around it could have enemies that try to stop you from earning trophies, or it could become multiplayer and let you fight your opponents for non-collectible trophies.
