It's neat, but it feels like it can be condensed more. Maybe it's just the computer I'm on, but it takes up a lot of vertical room, especially with Doc, Roy and Pichu being on their own row where there's four blank spaces between the two rows above it. Also, the percentages are pointless at this stage in the game; Sakurai's really using his own plans, and there's no way to really calculate that.
Still, it is pretty cool.

What does the whole "their own row" thing mean, TEi?

There is a Bowser vs. Diddy one, where Diddy and DK complete the jungle level and find Bowser stole all their bananas. SHOW US NOW.

Like I said, maybe it's just the computer I'm on, but the thing looks like it's laid out like this: [_][_][_][_][_][_][_] [_][_][_][_][_][_][_] [_][_][_][_][_][_][_] [_][_][_][_][_] [_][_][_][_][_] [_][_][_] The top three rows are confirmed Brawl characters; the last three are Melee characters that have not been confirmed. The fourth row down is Luigi through Ganondorf, the fifth is Mewtwo through Young Link, and the sixth is Roy, Doc Mario and Pichu. I was suggesting that if Mewtwo and Jigglypuff were moved up to the end of the fourth row after Ganondorf, and then the entire sixth row were moved up into the fifth row, it'd take up a little less vertical space.

i think it's the computer, TEi. On mine, the greyed-out characters are to the right of everyone else, not below them. So there's actually only three rows.

The "Tros" enemy from KI are now actually Subspacers known as "Glunder".

No, those were never Tros to begin with. They just look like them. I can just as easily say that Eggplant Men are now Primids, or Wheelies are now Roaders. It's just a resemblance that may or may not have been an influence or inspiration.

Those vid rock! I should spank myself for watching spoilers, but still, I like the part when Fox's Arwing sends Kirby and Peach flying through the air and then crashes! [/spoilers]

I wonder what Bowser wanted with DK's bananas? Or what that segment has to do with the rest of the Subspace emissary. I thought it was interesting that DK was fighting only the Koopa clan, and not the subspace army. So, maybe Fox has to fight the Koopa clan too for some reason, we did see a screenshot of him fighting a hammer brother... and Pit being bombed by Bullet Bills.
Wow. To think how many different enemies there must be in this mode....

I'm guessing when you go through the story the first time, the characters all end up teaming up slowly but surely... so (at a guess) DK fights Bowser for the bananas, but then the Primid show up and they become tangled in the whole storyline.
But later you can probably go back and play any stage with any character.
PS. Kinda off-topic - White DK is an awesome colour scheme. He looks like a yeti or something! ;D
