We weren't going to get Falcon or any character updates this week, period. It'd just be a bad move to reveal someone on the week of E for All and then say "Oh by the way you won't be able to play as him in the demo. I'M A GIANT TEASE!"
We got three days of brand new content that we didn't know about, and one day of demo content that we previously had no screens or video or ANYTHING of. We got ONE "well duh" update (well, two if you count the Wiimote controls update, but that was a double update, and the second update had new content), and you call that a bad week? You guys are just plain spoiled.

It could have been a worse week actually.
Though, I guess if you were betting on Meowth and Little Mac, it would be kinda hard.
But there are many weeks to go, and thanks to the demo, the leaked videos, and other info, there are alot of things we already know that still need to get updated on the site.
Torchic, Norfair, Ike and Meta Knight's Final smashes, the Smartbomb, Sea Urchin, Jill, Advance Wars, Kyogre, Gardevoir, and still with that damn mysterious Mario curciut.... the last remaining thing from that old trailer.... that's a few weeks right there... with the occasional "How to play" and Music.
So prepare for some boring weeks.

New Pork City? Meowth? Little Mac? These are all fucking AWESOME updates! What the hell is wrong with you people! And is everyone forgetting only last week we had SONIC the fucking HEDGEHOG confirmed!?
It's only you pissy whiners who found this week bad, because Meowth and Mac weren't confirmed as playable. They were never likely... nobody new is likely! We don't know if they'll work - you can guarantee Sakurai has put a hell of a lot more thought into them than any of us ever have. Combined!
Today's is a bit... meh... but at least it's yet another clarification on something that wasn't reported particularly well last week.

How many game companies take the time to update a daily blog with interesting little tidbits about an upcoming product? When someone finally does it, you take what they give you and spit on it? It's because of whining nerds I'm hoping Sakurai's December 3rd update will be 'Yeah we didn't plan two more months of updates, so eat shit.' followed by a new 70 day countdown. |

Good grief! Every time someone voices their negative opinion on a character confirmation or deconfirmation, they get flamed by the masses saying:
"This character owns! Stop whining!" or "This character deserved to be playable!" when someone is displeased with a particular character being playable.
"This character sucks! Stop whining!" or "This character didn't deserve to be playable!" when someone is displeased with a particular character being UNplayable.
If its not about a character, its about something about the game or the week in whole. They get flamed by the masses saying:
"If you don't like it, don't buy the game!" or "You are all spoiled!" or "You need your brain checked."
Sorry I forgot we were supposed to like everything about the game.

You're not. Hell, I've had gripes about this or that with the game so far, but I'm keeping it in perspective. The sprites were a particular bugbear of mine, as you all remember.
But some of you seem to moan about EVERY update. I mean Christ almighty! It's a game, for crying out loud!
How many of you who said this week has been crap for updates even remembered Monday's was a completely unexpected Mother 3 stage?! How many of you remembered that the main focus of Smash this last week has been the first playable demos, and not necessarily the Dojo? And aside from the moaners who slit their wrists when they found out he wasn't playable - Little Mac's update was brilliant!! When I saw that little fella in 3D my heart skipped a beat!
Seriously... some of you are not only taking it too seriously, but you're ruining the excitement for the rest of us by moaning about it. You ARE acting like spoiled children. It's Smash Bros.
Some days updates are better than others - New characters are the best, followed by stages and Assist Trophies, and then items and so forth, with "How to Play" at the bottom. But some of you have been moaning about everything - as if Sakurai OWES you something.
If you don't know how the forums work by now, let me remind you.
1. If you don't like something, EXPLAIN your reasons for not liking it.
2. If possible, REFER the readers to something that backs up your reasons.
3. Try to UNDERSTAND why the decision was made.
4. STOP YOUR BLOODY MOANING!!!
Edit The attitude here in the last couple of weeks has really pissed me off. Part of me is planning to either close this board, despite it being the busiest, or to put temporary blocks on certain people posting in it. It's not fair for those of us excited about the game and Dojo updates, who just want to find out more about the game and not have every day spoiled by some pissy-pants who swears and cries when Sakurai doesn't suck you off. Seriously...
