Yeah, at least this update confirmed some GOOD news. Ness still has a chance. Huzzah...
But I'm still confused and scared and wanting to cry. That's TWO STAGES that are waaaay too similar. Seriously. Wario Ware AND Pictochat?
I hope we can at least draw shit for Pictochat. Fighting on a giant wang has HILARIOUS possibilites

Oh! A small detail. If you look at the screenshot with the bridge... you can see one of Lucas's attacks. Kind of looks like Mario's forward smash but with psychic power instead of fire. That's ANOTHER move very different from Ness. The effect behind him would suggest it's his smash attack, where Ness would have the bat. Did not see that Lucas attack, nice to see he is still original. Also it's not really a bridge, it's more of a half-pipe. Sakarai mentions that there could be more nonsense stages in this game. Also what the object/thing in pictochat supposed to be in the My Music picture.

Maybe the game will display the "insert name here birthday today" message when it's your birthday like how the DS pictochat does. Fighting on a giant wang has HILARIOUS possibilites And perhaps other kinds of harsh content. If SSBB did allow you to do that, then playing online with this stage would be very, very graphic.

Wow, you guys are meaning some form of interaction with your DS in the game? Because that would own on the bright side.

Actually, I think this logo is SUPPOSED to represent "Touch! Generations," which is the general metaseries name for "games created to appeal to a broader audience than the traditional gamer," or whatever... Basically, this includes Nintendogs, Wii Sports, Wii Play, Brain Age and its kin so of course, Touch! Generations gets representation in Brawl. T_T
It also includes Cooking Navi, Master of Illusion, Elite Beat Agents/Ouendan, and retroactively, Puzzle League/Panel De Pon, Tetris, and...
Yes, friends... Dr. Mario would fight under THIS particular logo. =P
Also, Lip's Stick and the Nintendog Assist Trophy would be under this logo

If that icon does represent "Touch! Generations".... then that means.....
....it's still in alphabetical order?!

In America... In Japanese, this corresponds to the "Touch!" series. Please leave me to my illusion... -_-'

And there's a different logo for Europe. Touch! Generations is a bit different from this. This is more like software that isn't games (DS operating system, non-game WiiWare software). And now that you mention Touch! Generations, I think it shouldn't be hard for Nintendo to get the license to show Tetris stuff. EDIT: In America... In Japanese, this corresponds to the "Touch!" series. Really? I see there the DS symbol but I don't understand Japanese

It's the only reason I have to explain why it might use the DS Logo for stuff ranging from the Wii Shop Channel, Mii Channel, Pictochat, and Brain Age, rather than using something like a Control Pad for Wii Shop, Mii Channel, and Pictochat (Being built-in the Hardware), and Brain Age (Which would use that PBS Head)
Either way, Virus Buster would be under the same brand as Brain Age, and is a spin-off of Dr. Mario, so Dr. Mario would still use this logo. And I hope to God this means Dr. Mario, because I don't want to play as a GIANT FLOATING PROFESSOR HEAD!!!

It's the only reason I have to explain why it might use the DS Logo for stuff ranging from the Wii Shop Channel, Mii Channel, Pictochat, and Brain Age, Who says it represents that stuff? Melee stages had, like Mach Rider music, yet didn't use a Mach Rider symbol, so why can't a DS stage have a DS symbol and still play other music? In terms of the update - brilliant. Just brilliant. And to whoever said its too similar to the WarioWare stage.... what? If anything its closest to Pokemon Stadium (plain base which occasionally transforms to have varied terain)

I heard someone say that Professor Kawashima can possibly enter SSBB, not only because of him being mentioned twice in Sakurai's SSBB poll, but also because of SSBB including a Brain Age song. However, Brain Age has its own symbol, which looks similar to the PBS logo. Also, Kawashima is a real person, which Sakurai said he will not add characters that didn't originate from a video game and have appeared in at least one developed for a Nintendo console. Dr. Wright is also based on a real person, but he's in there. I'm pretty sure that Nintendo own Kawashima at this point.

...except he's making brain games for the PSP now... This update is weird, and it rules! At first I thought you'd be able to draw your own stages... maybe they will have some kind of stage update via teh internets in the future? Who knows! Crazy, crazy stuff! And strange music selection too.
