I find that it's much easier to play every character this time than it was in Melee. I think they might've managed to balance it better, so it shows how good of a job they did.
That said, I'm currently working on completing all those Challenges and Events.

Brawl has bested Final Fantasy IV, Kirby Super Star, and Metal Gear Solid as my favorite game ever made. The fun, the interactivity, the endless modes, and being EVERYTHING Nintendo from the 80's to present day.
My theory on this world...since this is a spoiler topic.
I think this is the world at the center of the Nintendoverse. It could very well be the world where Gyromite and Stack Up took place, since the Ancient Minister trophy apparently says he ruled the world for a long time.Maybe Hector's still around? Hm. Anyways, I think many Nintendo characters get involved in these Smash tournaments and are brought from world to world, dimension to dimension, even from different time periods, dimensions, or just a few years in the future or previous (Lucas and Ness, Toon Link and TP Link, Young Link and Dr. Mario for each of those). This time, many characters, some who weren't planning for a tournament, were dragged to this world. Even those like Ridley, Petey Piranha, and more. This was part of Tabuu's plan, to make an army of universal enemies. Anyways, he brought MG&W in first, probably, and discovered the LCD being shadow bugs.
Some of the characters figured out they could host tournaments here, and it when defeated, they were put into a trophy form as a means of rest instead of being hurt and having to recover. They had to be woken up, as they could not wake up themselves in that form, though. Well, after the whole story which took off from there, they probably held the normal tournament across worlds, and the AT summons characters from their own worlds, too.
That's my theory. Oh, and Luigi, Meta, Marth, R.O.B., and Snake are badasses. Hell, I love everyone in this game.

Pretty good fanon idea there, Dasher. I was just thinking about it myself recently.

Okay, I agree that all the characters seem more balanced. I have a lot more favorite characters than I did in Melee, and a lot of them are Melee characters that I didn't like before.
There is one exception, though. What happened to Jigglypuff? She is absolutely useless. I can't even get through classic mode with her on normal difficulty. I had 68% damage on Pit and I slept on him and he DIDN'T DIE. Rollout has been incredibly nerfed, she's slow as crap, and her smash attacks don't seem to be as powerful either. Maybe she requires a whole new strategy that I haven't figured out, but right now she seems like a turd.

Is it possible that now Pichu's not filling the weak and useless slot (blah blah - good players rox with Pichu yadda yadda... spare me), Jiggly's gone back to his SSB64 style which was in no way as cool as SSBM. Just a guess - I haven't played it yet

That's sorta what I've been thinking. It makes me sad though, because I loved the Jiggles in Melee.

I get the feeling Jiggs was added back in late along with Toon Link and Wolf. At least they didn't have to add in six clones to buff up the roster this time. I personally thought the roster looked fine without them, but maybe I grew used to it after trekking all the way through tSsE.

Something Neko Neko Panic and I noticed through experimentation: In most of ROB's color schemes, the words "Robotic Operating Buddy" appear in red and black on the front of his base. However, the graytone US region colorscheme changes this so it instead reads "ROB" at the very left in bigger text, and then "Nintendo Entertainment System" to the right in smaller text.
Also, because of ROB and Ivysaur, we can now discount any arguments in regards to how many legs a potential character has. No legs and four legs seem to work out just fine

Jigglypuff is still good, but weaker then Melee. He Rollout if better (as you can jump afterwards) and is much faster (still hurts). Her air attacks are also stronmg. I haven't played much with Jiggly. Seems ok to me.

I think Jiggly is really weaker, I can't stand her now... ROB is pretty good in my opinion... Lucas was a big surprise for me... I though I wouldn't like him but he's my main! Snake is really bad if you don't main him... abd to finish... Falco is good but not as I wanted him to be.. but hey! he's in!

ROB is godly. no question. he's my official Mewtwo replacement, but unlike Mewtwo, ROB is actually good!

ROB looks like he's pretty awesome. He just doesn't fit my playing style at all and I do poorly with him.
I have started using Olimar and mastering his Pikmin, and I must say that Olimar is awesome. I LOVE playing as Olimar.
