Isn't that the Nintendo magazine that's notorious for being constantly wrong and misinformed to the point that they put even Electronic Gaming 'Hilarity Pants' Monthly to shame?
Besides, it's speculation on their part. I won't really be holding my breath for this one to pan out.

Nintendo Official Magazine UK switched publishers over a year ago, and now it's not quite so horrible. I've stopped buying it, but only because it's still a magazine for kids. It's better written and doesn't fill its pages with absolute crud any more.
But, in English slang, they're just saying "We reckon Krystal's in, and I'll put a bet on it." Doesn't mean they have ANY information at all... just that they reckon she will be.
Remember, magazines are just the opinions of people paid to have them.

I don't think anyone doubted her inclusion before. She mustered up a 4 on the poll, and you have a good shot if you can pull that off (look at Diddy and Ike). The voice actor only confirmed what many already believed (and feared).

As for the 'There are way to few female characters in SSBB!' thing that seems to be going around, I don't want characters put in to SSBB, just based on the fact that they happen to be female! |

Just because Krystal's in SSBB does not automatically mean she's a playable character. That's the assumption everyone has that I can't quite get my head around. I imagine Slippy, Peppy and Falco's voice actors are there too, like they were in SSBM.

I also figured she could just be flying around in her ship and she talks when Fox does his special taunt (if it returns anyway), but she got requested quite a bit and ranked high on that list. I'm expecting her to show up playable really. Talking about special taunts I hope Meta Knight has one in his halberd level where his goofy henchmen with those old portraits will argue.  |

Oh man, I did not think about that. That HAS to be in the game. I'll so amazingly happy if Meta-Knight's henchmen show up as a special taunt in the game.

She did get a 4 and is pretty popular, so mostly assumed she had a shot at playability. When this came out, everyone believed she was playable. |
