Just because Krystal's in SSBB does not automatically mean she's a playable character. That's the assumption everyone has that I can't quite get my head around. I imagine Slippy, Peppy and Falco's voice actors are there too, like they were in SSBM. From the sound of it, they'll be using the Assault voices (since the VA for Krystal listed "Aparoid Queen" next to her list of credentials for the SF series). Which is good, I suppose--the Assault voices are probably the best of the three games that feature voice acting. Which is kinda sad really since Fox, Slippy, Peppy and Wolf were all pretty average. XD

I actually thought Assault had the worst voice acting of all the StarFox titles. But, each to their own, I guess.

XDStarfox 64 was the best Assault's was ok. It was the worst, but that's not too bad as the last two had good voice acting. Slippy's was actually better.

Star Fox 64 has the best voice acting, but only because Assault wasn't the original cast ;p

Eh. I wasn't a big fan of most of the voices for 64 (loved Falco and Peppy's, since they were both very memorable), and I didn't like any from Melee/Adventures since Rare hires homeless Canadians and Britons to do their voicework for a dimebag of coke and three beer bottles full of cat urine. Assault wasn't great by any means, but for the most part the actors were at least professionals. Slippy had a voice that didn't suck, Wolf's was okay, and Falco had an awesome Bronx accent.

Lylatwars VA was definitely better than either Assault's or Adventures by a long shot. When it comes to Krystal's voice acting however, I prefer SFA's over Assault's.
I especially hated the way, that in Assault, Krystal pronounced the word Sauria. It was (and still is in my mind) a totally awful pronounciation.

The way she pronounced it in Assault was perfectly acceptable given all the ways you can say "au" words.
(I actually thought it was kinda hot. I ♥ British accents, even if they're coming from characters like her.)

Lylatwars VA was definitely better than either Assault's or Adventures by a long shot. When it comes to Krystal's voice acting however, I prefer SFA's over Assault's. Well, in SFA she was played by an actual British person, while Assault gave her an American doing a poor impression of a British person. Funnily enough, if I were choosing my favourite voice actors for StarFox characters, I'd end up with a couple from each game. Falco and Peppy were best in 64, Krystal was best in Adventures, Fox was equally good in 64 and Adventures and EAR SPLITTINGLY BAD in Assault, and Slippy... well, that's hard to judge. He certainly tends to grate on my nerves, but I think that's the point. And TEi, the way Krystal pronounced Sauria is not the way I've ever heard a British person pronounce it. She prounced it with an "ow" sound, we usually do it with an "aww" sound.

Sorry, I think I miscommunicated what I was saying. The fact that "au" = "ow" is an acceptable way of pronouncing the letters together is not directly tied to the fact that British accents are hot (and thus that all Britons say it like that). My bad!

Yes, girls with accents are hot. I still think Peach and Zelda should've had British or English accents since the beginning. ;D

If by "bring back" they mean "struck out in a new direction previously unheard of in a Star Fox game and failed miserably at making it interesting or even worth playing," then they're spot on.
But somehow I doubt that.

and Slippy... well, that's hard to judge. He certainly tends to grate on my nerves, but I think that's the point. Without a doubt, his voice acting was the best in the original Star Fox on the SNES. Gungungun GAbba! ;D I would have pronounced it sore-i-uh, not sour-i-uh. Krystal's accent has never been convincingly British, even when voiced by British voice actors.
