Yeah, important to it's downfall.  The third parties will probably get nothing besides a stage and possibly one item. The last thing I want is 50000 rejected third party characters clogging the game up as Assists. We already had the same problem with playables and secondary Nintendo characters. |

Plot and characters have nothing to do with Sonic's downfall. Lazy programming is the problem. Anything else is opinionated bullshit.

  Shadow is one of the worst characters ever made. He's a lot better than others though. But I thought he died after SA2, I've always wondered how he made it back?

Shadow manages to be the second most popular character in the series. You guys don't like him. Great. That doesn't make him the worst character ever made, or even a bad character. It means, simply, that you guys don't like him. It would be really easy to say that without flamebaiting the people who do, y'know?
EDIT: For TV Eye - In Sonic Heroes, Rouge finds Shadow in a stasis capsule inside Eggman's base, with no recollection of anything but his name. For the next few games we're led to believe it's just a robot clone of Shadow built by Eggman, but then at the end of Shadow The Hedgehog it turns out it is the real Shadow, rescued from his fall by one of Eggman's robots.

*head asplodes* As for the trophy thing, I want 500 to 750 (Nintendo can do it) and I want as many obscure characters/items as possible. As for third party, maybe 3 or 4 for each series. |

 This is why Shadow is the worst Not to derail but didn't Shadow have some DBZ like powers in Sonic Battle? Why did he ditch them for guns? Is there some deep reason behind this? |

Sonic itself is alright, but I despise his fanbase for the most part. Not the average ones, but the ones who usually have Deviantart accounts with annoying as hell "blinky" avatars/icons.
