Okay, so they're both caterpillars, have big round noses, and small oliveish-eyes.
Weedle has a stinger on its head and Wiggler has a flower.
Ehh, that's all I can think of now. Feel free to discuss this matter.

First of all, Id like to say that Wiggler is a Mario character and Weedle is a Pokemon. Search them on both and you'll know how do they look. Obviously, Wiggler cannot be put into a Pokeball. Also, a Weedle is, in size, much smaller than Wiggler. That's all of their differences I can thnk of now.

Well, since Wiggler has better sense than to get caught in a pokeball, I guess he wins ;D

Weedle always reminded me of Wiggler... and Diglett always reminded me of the big green hills with eyes that you see in the background of some Mario games.

Really now... what was the point of this topic ;; Besides... Wiggler only turns into a poxy butterfly (see YI), while Weedle turns into a kickass bee. Okay, not that kickass, but my first ever Pokemon team had a Beedrill in it I wish there was some way to make Beedrill good. And Marowak

Beedrill is good, it was the only bug Pokemon who has a real advantage over Psychics at r/b/y (most other bugs hardly know any bug attack that acually attacks)>

Yes, he is the only bug to know a decent bug attack, but: A) It's got such a poor Attack stat that there's almost no point using it and... B) He's half poison (and has low Special)... so keeping it out when anything with a Psychic attack is out is suicide. Gimme a Scyther any day

^Yeah you're right, it seems to me, Nintendo purpously give Phsycics every advantage possible, I almost thought Ghost had no advantage over Phsycics.

At first they didn't because they were all Poison types as well as Ghost. Psychic did have an unfair upper-hand until Gold and Silver came out. Suddenly the balance was shifted the other way with better Psychic defenses and the break-up of the Special stat. Umbreon rules

Scyther would've been the perfect psychic killer if had just ONE bug attack. ANYTHING really.

But noooo... instead we all had to rely on Slowbro and Snorlax (I went for Slowbro... he looks the funny )

Poison's a physical type, and Beedrill gets Swords Dance in the Advanced Gen, so he's slightly better. Still a crappy Pokemon to pick overall, though... Twinneedle is a terrible move. Megahorn, Signal Beam and Silver Wind are where it's at And Marowak is uber in the newer generations, with the Thick Club, Swords Dance and STAB Earthquake. My friend's has Double-Edge, Earthquake, Brick Break and Swords Dance with a Thick Club, and he baton passes speed to it from his Scyther before he uses it. SOOO... he's got one really really uber Marowak. Ironically enough, however, despite Marowak's good Defense, I took it out once with my Dunsparce and Body Slam

I'm always keen to avoid Baton Passing if possible. I never fancy building my techniques around it.
I know some of them are better with all the GSC/RSE moves... but I was in my element with the original game. I've loved the others, but I've not really followed the strategies since then... opting for the tough, individual Pokémon like I did back in the old days.

Yes, he is the only bug to know a decent bug attack, What about Parasect? STABbed Leech Life+High Attack+No psychic weakness. Oh and Wiggler would win, especially when he goes bonkers.
