This is a list made by I Love Bacon from VGchartz.com detailing how many times a character has been in an update (that's update, not screenshot). It does not include stickers, trophies, characters under "Tourney", Samus under "Names", Peach and Kirby in "Team", Link in "Snake Joins the Brawl", and Mario under the "Special Brawl" update.
Mario: 61 Kirby: 42 Link: 41 Wario: 40 Fox: 34 Yoshi: 28 Pit: 28 Pikachu: 28 Meta Knight: 21 DK: 20 ZSS: 19 Bowser: 19 Samus: 18 Peach: 16 Zelda: 15 Diddy Kong: 15 Ike: 13 PT: 8 Snake: 8 Lucas: 8 Sonic: 6 IC: 6 King Dedede: 5
I'll update this daliy.

Wait...what?
Yes, that does mean screenshots.

Wait...what? Yes, that does mean screenshots. No, if we counted screenshots, the numbers would be much higher. It goes by how updates the character has actually been in. If it counted screen shots, the ICs would have gone up by 5 for their update, as they were in 5 screenshots.

Is this one of those threads where you bet on a character and wait who wins when the very last update comes around?

I think this would make more sense if you went by series, like which series got the most updates. And you could judge that by the symbols.

I read the title of this topic and this was the first thing that came to mind.

@8bitretroboney:No. I explained it already. It's just counting how many times a character has been seen in an update @tv eye: I didn't make this for one, but it also focuses on the characters rather on what the update is about. I may make that myself. Tei the Spiffy:WTF?

I actually have this list in a word document on my computer that I made myself! I made it from scratch one night when I was really bored, and have been adding to it since. I've kept it private since I didn't think anyone would be that interested. If you guys care enough, though, maybe I'll make a seperate thread for it.

EDIT: Wait. Donkey Kong only has 6 updates, not 7.

It's a bit redundant since the majority of updates are the Smash symbol.
