So with all this waiting, it's only made me want the game more. I have been thinking if I want to spoil the final roster for myself. It's a tough decision.
So I thought I'd see what everyone else thinks. Will you guys spoil the game, or tough it out to be surprised?

I'm going to try my hardest to at least keep everything that's unlockable a secret. The game won't be nearly as fun on the first playthrough if I already know everything. Kind of like back when Diamond and Pearl came out. I already knew all the new Pokemon before I played the game, and while it was still fun, there were hardly any surprises, and thus I wasn't as "wowed" as I was when I played Pokemon Ruby for the first time.
So yeah, I'm really hoping Famitsu is only showing the starting roster. It'll be one thing to restrain myself for the two weeks that Japan has the game before we do, but doing so for two whole months... I dunno if I have that self control.

^ Congradulations on the 500th posts Thores!
I already spoiled SSB and SSBM so I want to keep everything a secret and be excited after seeing unlockable characters, especally the newcomer one's.

I have no choice in the matter. It's gonna be spoiled galore.

In this case, I don't think being spoiled will bother me. If it were a deep story-driven RPG, then perhaps, but I am a little indifferent to Brawl. Melee and SSB were decent surprises, but I did know a bit more about Melee's hidden characters than SSB (internet and all that).

I'll consider spoilers only the things that are revealed after the Japanese release of the game (or leaked info that has spoiler warnings).
It's probably unevitable that I'll learn one or two things anyway. But when that happens, I'll browse these sites even less than before.
On the bright side, people who have a job and discuss Brawl at these forums everyday will be more productive next year.
Off-topic: Super Smash Bros. Board has now more posts than NinDB General.

I will most certainly spoil, but how to unlock characters I may leave up in the air. Stages and stuff might be fun to leave out too. I DEFINITELY will keep stickers/trophies unspoiled.

I'm in a similar position to Fry's. I kind of don't really have a choice, since I'm writing that Anony-FAQ for y'all. But that's okay, I wouldn't have offered to write it if I minded the spoilers in the first place.
Now, what I'm wondering is, should I be by-the-books and code-name characters shit like "CHARACTER 1," or be more off-the-wall and give them unique names that may or may not be relevant to whom you're unlocking? Hmm...decisions. ;D

Spoilers are something I look forward to. When I played Melee, I was like " Aw shit son, Mewtwo's in it? DAMN!!!!! 20 hrs of versus in one day!!!!"

Won't be spoiling the hidden content if I can help it. I would much rather be playing an unlock somebody I didn't see coming than read about them beforehand. But whatever.

I'm most definitely not spoiling the secret stuff for myself. I want this game to be as enjoyable as possible; the feeling of surprise when I unlock an unexpected secret character or stage will add to this enjoyment.

I don't want to spoil anything unlockable. I am even maybe going to stop looking at the updates. And Fryguy64, are you going to put everything on the forum about Brawl after it is realeased because you will have to put ulta spolier warnings if you do.

I plan on not spoiling it. I'll try to stay off the internet after the Japanese release. But I am weak...very weak.

Dude, this place is SPOILER CENTRAL. ;D You're better off not coming to the board at all if you feel that way about it.
