...at least, I hope.

The last delay seemed like last minute touch-ups. Possibly a 3rd party licensing problem, but if two extra months aren't long enough to get a license worked out then screw the character.

Maybe there is a delay so there can be a simutanious worldwide release on one day like Halo 3?
Who knows, maybe Nintendo wants to try and beat Halo 3 's one day sales record?

Yeah, but delay it for a few more months? Just for that? EDIT: Oh, and this is totally fake BUT I couldn't resist... EDIT 2: Okay, this is interesting. First off, some background. This guy posts on Gamefaqs last night claiming to have the full roster. He gives his credentials as being a writer for the Prima strategy guides who felt it was okay to break the NDA for the fans. People went crazy and his topic promptly disappeared. This is all I could find left of it. His final roster was as follows: Mario, Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, DK, Link, Zelda, Ice Climbers, Kirby, Fox, Samus, Pikachu, Wario, Pit, Snake, Sonic, Pokemon Trainer, Lucas, Diddy, King Dedede, Meta Knight (MELEE) Ness, Captain Falcon, Falco, Young (WW) Link, Ganondorf, Mewtwo, Marth, Luigi, JPuff, Game and Watch (NEW) Olimar, Krystal, Ridley, Isaac, K. Rool, Geno, Mega Man, Animal Crossing Villager What makes this most striking are two things, 1 Pro and 1 Con. Con: Ness is present when we now he is very likely not going to be. Pro: It's 42 characters total and includes a few fan-favorites Two more interesting points: The guy was a new user at Gamefaqs and did not have the "employee VIP" marker in his profile, but the Prima guide would have been published in November had the game not been delayed (it would have been on shelves early, early in November). Interesting, nyet? Last time a random dude from a guide posted stuff that nobody believed, he was right

Who is the one on the far right?

Is it something like left = Megaman, middle = Pacman and right = Captain Falcon? Because it looks that way to me!

The left one is Mega Man and the Middle one is Pac-Man. The one on the far right is hard to pin down, but most think it's SNK's Terry Bogard, who has a design much like the outline. Either way, the pic is fake because we found corresponding official Non-Smash art for Mega Man and Pac-Man exactly as they are in that pic.

I'm 99% sure that Megaman Silhouette comes from official art for Megaman 7 or 8. I'll have to doublecheck to make sure.
Also, (EDIT) Flip, that's an interesting rumor right there. But I'm not gonna put much stock in it just out of safety...

Personally, I'd rather wait until CoroCoro's Smash issue shows us all the fighters than speculate this late. (Yes, I believe CoroCoro will reveal all the fighters because they said ALL the fighters, CoroCoro loves to spoil in that department, and whenever Brawl is shown outside the confines of the Dojo, it's always new stuff.)

And no Mr. Game & Watch-like character other than Mr. Game & Watch (I really expect something better). If Geno is in, then he's listening to the fans a lot.

All you need is a little Google Image Search, and you can find the original Mega Man and Pac-Man artwork. Lazy!
Still can't pin down the third one, but it's not Captain Falcon (missing a shoulder pad and helmet, and not wearing the right boots), Terry Bogard (collar's too big, other things don't fit), Simon Belmont (he didn't wear much!) or anyone else particularly obvious.

The picture's Terry. And haha, yeah: I was wondering why he referred to you, TV Eye, for the rumor ;p
I don't buy it on the sole basis of him including Ness, but it does make sense in the thinking that Prima WOULD have its guide mostly written by now. It's almost dead-certain that the guys in the biz know the final roster.
