Yeah, this update was actually pretty good fare. For all the reasons DiU listed, really. It revealed quite a lot.
Now, what bothers me is that Sakurai is reserving stuff and that's cool. BUT why doesn't he start just giving us screenshot and video galleries, in lieu of fancy updates?
That would so wet my appetite.

And when I say he's horrendous, I mean that--assuming you need to be about four points behind the player in third place in order to get one--he'd probably earn four or five Pity Final Smashes a match, if not more. If you're about 4 points behind third place, I suspect even 4 or 5 Pity FS's won't save you - I'd reckon you'd need about 10 to stand a chance of coming first. Unless you're playing as Bowser or Fox. ;D Now, what bothers me is that Sakurai is reserving stuff and that's cool. BUT why doesn't he start just giving us screenshot and video galleries, in lieu of fancy updates? Because it's much easier to do fancy updates, rather than video galleries. Personally, I'd rather he gave us another moveset or a FS/character update, than a 'returning from previous games' update or a 'stuff you may already know from E for All' update.

This is a CRAP UPDATE! Nah, just kidding. It's okay. The only good parts are the screenshots...and knowing you can turn them off. Who is ever going to turn them off. I know I will have to...because everytime I would play against my school friends they would go,"AHHHH, that's a fluke, you got a Smash Ball!" The Tourney Players. They hate items, so while they can turn the Smash Ball off, they still have to worry about the Final Smash being used as a Desparation Move. And to think, the tourney players are COMPLAINING that the Final Smash follows the mold of a Desparation Move common in SNK Fighters and Guilty Gear.

It says you can set how often the smash ball appears. I wonder if multiple characters can hold them at the same time... we haven't seen that.
I would like to do Samus's, Pokemon Trainers, and Mario's.... all at the same time.... with Deoxys in the air.... on the Halberd while the combo cannon fires.

It took me long enough but I think I remember that conversation on smash boards, if thats what you're referencing. ;D There are a lot of conversations there. For those of you who don't know, it's a guy called Dylan Tnga, who can best be described as a Tourney cigarette. He's not getting Brawl because wavedashing is out and you require an item to play as ZSS.

Is it wrong to start celebrating and cheering and so on? No, because that means it's more fun for the rest of us who are not nearly as tobacco-filled. ;D
