The Mario Circuit stage appears! Of course, we HAVE shown it briefly in past movies...This popular series makes an impressive debut. It’s a figure-of-eight course, and you do battle at the crossing of the 8.There are even grandstands in places you can’t see!It hurts when the karts racing around the track hit you. They come in from the side and from the back of the screen, so be careful. When they come from the back, and you are on the lower level, look out. When they come from the side, and you are on the upper level, look out.The karts are serious about their race. You can get a general idea of their location on the screen at the back, so pay attention to it.You can actually make them wipe out, too.

I wonder what its background music would be based on? Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash!, Mario Kart DS, or one of the Mario Kart arcades?

I would of liked it more if it was like the Mute City in Melee. But this is still cool. It kinda reminds me of Nofair. Waves of cars from side and back. And since there is one more space on the stages list, it will probley be F-Zero based.

Well it's nice to finally see this stage at long last and I'm happy with it, espically the crossroads part is quite neat as well. I also like how they added a map screen in the background remenicent of MKDS. And it's good to see the stage has not changed that much from when it was first shown. (below image from 2nd November 2006 trailer and comes from the NinDB). I wonder what its background music would be based on? Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash!, Mario Kart DS, or one of the Mario Kart arcades? Hopefully some music from each one of the games or one giant complamation remix. But the MK arcade GP games were made by Namco, so would there be some copyrights with getting music from that game though? (Unless the music was made by Nintendo).

Well, perhaps the music from the Mario Kart arcades have the slimmest chance at being added to SSBB, mainly because most people prefer home console and handheld gaming more than arcade gaming. Mario Kart: Super Circuit has the second slimmest chance, because it's perhaps the least popular. And I forgot that each stage has more than two music tracks to choose from. If the Mario Circuit has an alternate song that isn't from the Mario Kart series, then I believe it would be a remix of songs from Stunt Race FX. If that happens, then it would be better if Sakurai added 4WD, F-Type, Coupe and 2WD as alternate Mario Circuit racers. If Sakurai created a tropical stage (e.g. a beach, an island, etc.), then it would either represent the Densetsu no Stafy series, the Wave Race series or the StarTropics series. And when one tropical series is represented, then the other two series can have their songs remixed and added to the stage as alternate songs.

This is the very last of the Nintendo World information that hadn't already been recapped on the Dojo! Besides, perhaps, How to Play: Crawling.
I wonder if the next stage update will be the last before launch, and what it'll be. I've got my money on a Sonic stage. At least that's what I'm hopin for.

Didn't we saw another stage for Solid Snake? It looked like it took place outside of a building around realistic, cold, rocks and military-related buildings.

No, that was just, like, the left edge of the Shadow Moses stage when the wall was knocked down so you could see the outdoors in the background.

Finally, we have the Mario Circuit stage! It looks a lot more colourful than it did in the low-quality video I took that screenshot from ;D
I love the way even after having it explained 100 times, people still think each stage will have one "main" music track, and the others are optional. No... there will be a load of songs tied to individual stages, and you can unlock more (CDs) and set the likelihood of them playing (My Music/Options).

Took the words right outta me mouth, Fry. My Music basically solves the whole song issue; the fact that this stage is in particular based on Mario Kart more than the main body of games or RPGS leads me to believe that there would specifically be a set of music for each level, this one being Mario Kart-themed. The MK games tend to have some pretty catchy tunes but none really stand out above the others (except possibly with the MK64 Rainbow Road tune which, if memory serves correctly, is the only song to make a return from a past MK game without the level in question being identical to how it was at the time); this means that any music is really up for grabs here.
Also, every stage from here on out will be a surprise! Let's go, Green Hill Zone or Meteor Swarm *fingers crossed, especially for the latter*

Hmm...stage speculation: Possibly a Mario Galaxy stage, definitely some sort of Sonic stage will happen, and I'm hoping for a Pikmin stage as well!

A little bit plain, to be honest (was expecting the racers to be blasting each other (and the fighters) with weapons and just generally there to be a bit more chaos, but whatever, its still nice.

This is pretty plain. It's great we finally get a Mario Kart stage, but there's nothing novel about it. Seems to me like another Yoshi's Story or Poke Floats--largely forgotten.
Still, I love me some Mario Kart music.
