This time, Event matches can be played in two-player mode! Wow. This is a great game for couples. When you press the Player 2 button here... The two-player Events begin!These are not battles – they’re co-operative play. So, you tackle the challenge of each Event together.
There are fewer two-player Events than single-player ones, but they each have different settings than the single-player matches.<Two Trouble Kings> Characters: Mario, KirbyBattle together against Bowser and King Dedede!
This is a proper 2-on-2 match.<Master the Pokémon Tag Battle> Characters: Pokémon Trainer, PikachuThis features Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard, and one Pikachu.
It’s a tag battle with pretty much equal teams!<Fastest, Shortest, Sudden Death> Characters: Yoshi, King DededeSee who can defeat the most enemies in just 10 seconds!!<ALL MINE!> Characters: Wario, BowserC-could this be a Coin battle?! With lots of notes...That reminds me, there are Coin battles this time around, too. When you launch an opponent, you collect their money. The player with the most money at the end wins. The fact that it isn’t bloodthirsty is nice.Oh, and I forgot to mention earlier that you can play Target Smash!! with two players simultaneously as well! Oh! I see! Delegation of duties is important! |

-Paper money appears in Coin Mode
-PT changes colors with his Pokemon (Charizard gets pea-soup green, Bulbasaur gets "shiny" colors)

This is pretty neat! We also get a glimpse at a few new events that Sakurai didn't mention from the first two screen shots: EDIT: Never mind, Flip beat me to it with better descriptions.  |

Spectacular!
I thought the SE would be the only mode with co-op and this finally confirms the return of Coin mode.
The Target Test co-op is quite a nice addition as well.
EDIT: Ivysaurs flower changes from pink to green for an alternate colour. (It can just barly be seen in 4th image).

 Still no Megaman.. ..but this a great update! Like Flip said it confirms quite alot, and co-op events were the bomb in Perfect Dark so this will also be a lot of fun, failing at hard mode and blaming it on my friends. I thought I saw some sort of gingerbread man in the event 2 icon, but I guess it's a mutated Charizard |

Very very nice update.
Bit of a shame that Pokemon Trainer only resembles the Emerald boy trainer whilst wearing his normal outfit rather than actually being him, though. Oh, and no wacky hats for the Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon? Awwwww.
Oh yeah, and the bandwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagon failed.
EDIT: Just realised this is the first Dojo appearance of the Lightning Bolt item, too.
