It's not Magikarp, I had to run through that section of the trailer multiple times to figure out what it was. Spiral mono-eye gives it away.
I love this trailer. Albeit no previously unconfirmed character here like all three previous trailers (Fox in the second, Sonic was included with the third trailer in the conference). But I love how everything's working. I'm going to post my theory on the whole thing in a bit, but hopefully it won't be pulled at too much.
Ike has the English voice. Compare both regions and Ike has a different yell in each. I like the one we got more. YAAAAHHH!

GameFAQs is already in an uproar about it, though that's about the more obvious pixel cloud decoy in the middle. Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me. |

Don't be so sure... Look to the right side about ten or twenty seconds in. It's for a split second, but whatever it was LOOKED like Captain Falcon. GameFAQs is already in an uproar about it, though that's about the more obvious pixel cloud decoy in the middle. Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me. I don't see anything but background or subspace badguys on the right  . I was going to say how they won't show the unrevealed characters because they just edit them out (character select screen, icon select for wi-fi profile) but then I remembered Peach showing up in that one trailer before her profile was up. Ofcourse she was visible the whole time and I don't think the update team tries to sneak in unannounced characters like that. |

Bothered to go into the hellhole called Smash Boards to find this image .jpg) It's actually just purple shadow coming from the subspace guys and the crappy quality making it look like the captain. Also a little editing might've been used because I sure can't see him clear like that when pausing around the trailer. |

OK. I was checking out the Smashboards topic on it. It's not true since there is no way Falcon would magically pop up there and be in that position in under a second.

Why does everybody think Falcon is there! I'm happy none of us belive it! Sakurai wouldn't just slip him in there. He would of watched to movie several times before posting it on the WORLDWIDE Dojo. And I thought C. Falcon was a good guy...what would he be doing with these evil dudes called Primids? Tell those people to stop talking about it!

Like it or not, that actually does look like Captain Falcon. You can even make out the outline of his triangular white eyes. Captain Falcon is in. I never doubted that he wouldn't be in, he's just not officially confirmed yet.

It just looks like him due to the blury shot and everything mending together. |
