Use the power of the Chaos Emeralds to transform. Race through the air at reckless speed! Get the Smash Ball! Now I’ll show you! Haaaaaaaaahhhhh!He has tremendous inertia and is hard to control, but his top speed is top class!
Those who are witnessing this move should plan on dodging! Whoa! Hold on! I won’t take it!If you boost your speed recklessly, you’ll pass by people too quickly, making it easier for them to dodge.
Speed control is important with this Final Smash. And it’s over. |

I personally thought something better was going to happen for the Christmas update, but at least it was a double update with the Sonic music as well.
Oh well, this is what I get for expecting a huge update.
Merry Christmas to the all the forum members on the other side of the world, who haven't Christmas Day yet!

Hahaha.. This is the "big" update people were expecting for Christmas? Big dates mean nothing, never did. Sakurai's birthday, Miyamoto's birthday, Kojima's birthday, Mega Man's anniversary, Christmas... What's next? The New Year's Day? Hahaha. Glad to get this out of the way.

Hahaha.. This is the "big" update people were expecting for Christmas? Big dates mean nothing, never did. Sakurai's birthday, Miyamoto's birthday, Kojima's birthday, Mega Man's anniversary, Christmas... What's next? The New Year's Day? Hahaha. Glad to get this out of the way. Well, here is the thing about the spacial days. They happen for people working on the game. So Kojima and Tokaka got updates, but Miyamoto didn't as he's not working on the game. |

Actually, this makes sense as a christmas update. Why? Because Sonic was born on Christmas Island. So this is Sonic's update because of Christmas Island? All because of the name "Christmas" in Sonic's backstory? Christmas Island really has nothing to do with Christmas, its named as such because of the many red crabs all over the island making the landscape green and red (Christmas colors). |

Sonic being born on Christmas Island was an idea that was abandoned in 1991. I doubt it has anything to do with the update. XD

I was wondering when we were going to get this....
It's only because in the many E for All videos I watched... Sonic's final smash was the one I got to see over and over again. So I consider this update BORING but finally out of the way.
