WTF is blade?
Oh, I get it....some Sonic Recolorist inserted his fan fiction character into the game. That's an automatic fail.
But let's play the game....
The game itself is pretty impressive, with a nice interface, a loads of features, and just like Melee... it's loaded with stuff. Unfortunately... you can tell he was so hasty to include all that "stuff" that he built it all into a game engine that sucks.
Before you create the characters, the stages, items, and all that other stuff... you can't rush the creation of the game's ENGINE. Work out the controls, the physics, the hit detection... that's the MOST IMPORTANT THING. And I can tell just from the first few minutes of playing this that it wasn't his priority.
I'll give him credit though... making your own smash brothers is a huge project... and he admits that it was his first game which is why the gameplay sucks.
(I made the same mistake, trying to make my own fighting game when I was younger... I'm talking like 7 years ago. I coded the engine, but it wasn't done... so instead of working on that, I spent all my time drawing up other stuff and including it in the game. By the time I had to fix the engine's problems.... it was too late. All that other work I did would become obsolete and would have to be done over again. I can tell that's what happened here.)

A funny idea for a fan game, but it isn't too friendly and it's even somewhat frustrating.

Fan character in Smash isn't a plus.
Mediocre at best, it's no MUGEN but it does what it intends. Just sad this will be the only way to play as Mega Man for now in a Smash.

Been around for a while, and the character selection is COMPLETELY lame. It's just whatever fanboys on the cusp of being "in-the-know" cream over. Still, thanks for the posting. Not everybody knew this existed, and it's not easily available  |

But I guess it's okay. Who the heck is Inuyasha? Llyode is okay. But are Blade and Blue even real characters? I don't think so.  |

I'm trying it out right now. I kinda hate fan games, to be honest. They always suck because they're full of Mary Sues and OOC characters. Not to mention out of SERIES characters... Oy. Go play something like Knytt or Passage, then come back to me and say you still love it when amateur game designers make fangames rather than original material  |

Go play something like Knytt or Passage... Knytt is okay, but if you wanna play an excellent game, try Within a Deep Forest. Knytt is the sequel to it. |
