SOINC WAS THE BEST UPDATE EVER! And why have you made a thread like this anyway...I think somebody already made one...or maybe it's my mistake. But SONIC was the best. Ever since I heard Brawl was the new smash bros. I said "SONIC MUST BE IN!" And...he was. ;D

I'm going to wait until all the 2007 Updates have been made. Whopps I should too. What if the whole rooster is reaveled in one update. That would be surely the best update...EVER! And by the whole rooster being reaveled in one update I mean they show us a image of the finished character selection screen with everything unlocked. Wouldn't it be funny if you had 2 WHOLE PAGES of characters. That'd be cool but won't happen. |

I'm going to be different. The Devil was the best update for a few reasons:
1. Hopefully it means none of that hiding Tamagon junk that happened in Melee will happen in Brawl. (though the apparent removal of Gray Fox's extra dialog with Snake and no apparent ability to switch language options in Brawl is troubling...)
2. The Devil has shown how truly unique assists can be (and he is still the most unique yet to be revealed)
3. He's like the best villain ever... I mean... just look at him!

Granted no more major updates occur in the next two weekdays of '07, I'd say
Best Character: Sonic [it's every gamer's dream to make Mario and Sonic duke it out >.>]
Best Stage: Pictochat [It's the most unique level, and I'm sure lots of fun will be had with it]
Best Assist: Excitebike [come on. just awesome]
Honorable mention: Stage builder.

Sonic. Why? Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was my first videogame. The four main Genesis Sonic games are still among my favorite games ever. Id been hoping for him since Snake was revealed. Just a fans dream. And no update this side of Geno playable and "Beware The Forest's Mushrooms" dual update could dethrone it,

Me...I think I became the most excited over Diddy and Dedede being revealed. Oh, and the Subspace Emissary; TOTALLY wasn't expecting that, and it pretty much turned Brawl into my dream Smash Bros.

Mario profile, hands down. (joke) Hmmm, I think I loved the AT confirmetion along with each one of them. It opened a big door to a lot of possibilities.

My favourite updates.
Sonic confrimation: Happy he got in the game.
Pokemon Trainer update: Because the idea of how that character played was something nobody had ever thought of before.
Stage builder. It something I wanted but never thought would get in and will allow for greater replayability
Assist Trophies. Such a fantastic idea.
Subspace Emmisary. How adventure mode should have been.
My Music. Allows more great music to get in the game.
And my best update of 2007 is . . . Wi-Fi Play!! My runner-up choice would be Stage Builder though.

though the apparent removal of Gray Fox's extra dialog with Snake wait what's this all about On the Japanese side, it talks about how Gray Fox will say some things when he comes onto the stage, and if Snake is there, he will have different dialog. However, on the English side, we just got some sound effects: PA-SHEEN! This was part of a translation someone did: [Pic 3] “I surpass such weapons.” When he appears, he speaks a little. If Snake is there, his speech content changes a bit? [Pic 4] “Dear old Snake.” Oh, these assist figures can properly talk depending on the characters. Cyborg Ninja, with these single words, is also worthy of things like strong emotion, huh? |
