Man, if he had thought that list through a bit more and double checked it and made sure there were no obvious stupid mistakes, the info would have looked a lot more real.
Dixie Kong on that list has already been deconfirmed twice, with Diddy's alt costume and the Dixie Kong Trophy that appeared in the Fall 2007 conference video as well.
Also wouldn't people want to have Tails over Knuckles being playable? It also seems a bit unfair that SEGA gets two reps as well.

Actually, he's not. The only characters more popular than Tails are Sonic and Shadow. At least according to Sonic Team's polls.

Also, on topic, I feel as if I've created a monster with the whole "Leak" issue. Perhaps I forgot to mention this, but the original leak came with screenshots. I remember this very vividly because there were pictures of Mewtwo, Falco, Luigi and Jigglypuff fighting on Subcon (which turned out to be very real, thankyouverymuch). So I would take any rumors unaccompanied by screenshots with a grain of salt, and I apologize for throwing everyone through a bit of a loop. |

Didn't we already get Lucas? Didn't he replace Ness like originally intended? And wouldn't that mean we are getting clones again, AFTER Sakurai said he wouldn't have clones in Brawl? Flaw #10: Four third-party characters? Didn't Sakurai say only 1-2 more third-party characters after Snake? We have Snake and Sonic, that's two. So there's at least 0-1 more third-party characters to be confirmed. Anyway, I could buy half of the roster but the others are just too out-there and the roster in whole looks lame. And just when I didn't think the lame roster with the Animal Buddy Crate couldn't be topped!  |

What makes him so special? 9-Volt would be PERFECT for Smash Bros, since it's all one huge celebration of Nintendo history and that's his entire reason for being. it would be great if his attacks involved the use of ancient Nintendo peripherals like the Zapper, or even some of the toys they made in the pre-Donkey Kong days. that said, this 'leak' is obviously a whopping load of bull. |
