 Pikmin & Olimar Goodness! Captain Olimar joins the fray with five colours of Pikmin in tow! He plucks Pikmin from the ground and they fight as his allies.
Without Pikmin, Olimar can’t even do a Smash Attack. And the short-lived Pikmin tend to scatter. Theirs is a fated symbiotic relationship.    |

Booom!! Excelent, it was about time they showed this. He's another baby of Miyamoto and it was necessary to include him in the game. Anyone else think it's weird that they aren't just calling him Olimar? Maybe a length constraint for the selection screen, or for the amount of time needed for the announcer to say it. |

Just when I thought the PT couldn't be topped for character originality. Now P&O is going to be fun to play as. Question, is it anyone famous who worked on the Pikmin games Birthday today? Seems odd that there is a double update for a new (Nintendo owned) character. Also another thing to note, the leaf, bud and flower feature still seems to affect the Pikmin. If you look at the images below you should be able to see that the yellow Pikmin has a bud in the first image and a flower in the second. So could this mean Pikmin get faster when they are out on the stage longer?   |

Pikmin & Olimar: 6 Mr. Game & Watch: 5 And it would be more than 5 if "Captain Olimar" was accompained by at least the word "Pikmin", which seems to be emphasized intentionally. Yeah, it's a weird name, haha. Both Pokémon Trainer and "Pikmin & Olimar" are unique both in concept and name selection. Also, this confirms that the game may have names of duos separated by ampersands. |
