Nintendo and non-Nintendo games?

Over the past few years we've seen Nintendo hand out their characters to other developers and we've seen some good results come of it. But what if it went the other way, and Nintendo developed games using other companies' franchises? What if EAD worked on Katamari 3? Retro worked on RE5? HAL worked on a New Sonic?

Firstly, would you be for this, or against it? Lets face it - alot of Nintendo fan(boys) are quite close-minded - if its not from Nintendo, it can't be any good. Even though people are more likely to accept titles such as the ones I've listed, what about if (I know its impossible, but anyway...) Nintendo worked on a new Halo? I'd be interested to see the opinions of the many Halo bashers on this board on that one.

And secondly, what titles do you think should be worked on, and by what developers? Aside from my examples in the first paragraph, all of which I think would be good, I'd like to see someone in Nintendo work on a new Viewtiful Joe. I think that could be great.

Thoughts? Opinions?

It would be very odd, but has it not already begun with the Nintendo-developed and Namco-published Pac Man VS? Or the NST developed Ridge Racer 64, Crystalis and Bionic Commando?

But who knows what lies further down the line. A Nintendo-developed Sonic the Hedgehog game? Bomberman? I'm not against it by any means... so long as they're good games.

I'll not get it. Nintendo worked on some 3rd party games but I don't have any. In the backward way, Nintendo did not work for Meteos, but I'm desiring for it (Most probably because of Masahiro Sakurai).

I haven't played it so I can't comment. But Capcom has somehow helped Nintendo (by making some of the Zelda titles and made Resident Evil 4 and Zero) so I think Nintendo should be working on Capcom's titles too.
