Update #206: Zelda: Final Smash

In the final battles of many of the games in The Legend of Zelda series, you didn’t want to be low on arrows. A lot of times they were Silver Arrows, though...

Zelda’s ace in the hole is the magical Light Arrow, which you can use even as Sheik.


Ready for the Final Smash!


Draw the bow tight...


Fire! A beam of light pierces your enemy.


Your enemy is blown away by a tremendous force!

When you’re using Sheik, some of the characteristics of the attack will change, like the direction your opponent gets knocked in.

It’s good to use the character whose attack is best suited to the cover on each stage, but you probably shouldn’t worry TOO much about that.


After all, once they’re hit, they’re pretty much done for.

If you’re just playing one-on-one though, the Light Arrow might be easy to dodge. Try to create a situation where you have a good shot.

Finally nice to see this come. It's nice to know that it does change slightly when playing as Shiek.

I wonder why this got added to the UK site before the US site. I think the US site was having a hiccup.

Looks like a fairly easy FS to avoid.

I wonder if Mario and Fox can Cape/Reflector it.

Because it seems possible to me.

Also, Zelda seems really creepy in that first picture.

Unless they can cape / reflect other final smashes, and I doubt they can, as that would be really fucking stupid, then I doubt they can cape / reflect this final smash either.

Well I kinda expected this to be Zelda's Final Smash. True it looks like it could be avoided easily but imagine if 3 guys were lined up. I think it would be really cheap if you could reflect it though. -_-

It's unlikely that all three would be lined up, but if you could make the shot, it'd be epic.

For this FS it seems to be better to use Sheik in most cases, since the other players fly away completely horizontal. Seems like more chance of getting that kill.

I guess the Idea is to corner them to where if you miss they'd still be in a heap of trouble. It's also probably to fast to stepside.
