And the world famous Mr. Koji Kondo, creator of the music for Super Mario Bros., has kindly done us the service of arranging this theme for the stage!
The original overworld theme in Super Mario Bros. had a certain, almost Latin flavor to it, but this time the theme features a piano arrangement that really goes along well with the atmosphere of Mushroomy Kingdom.
It’s just wonderful.

Didn't seem that good at first but once it got halfway through, I could then recognise that wonderful, wondeful tune.
I'm happy to Kondo make this as well, it's a great song.

Finally, a Mario music update! Wha's going on for these years of SSBB devlopment!?
I guess this is not the best music ever (perhaps it's that it is too strayed from the original), but yeah, we finally have some Mario music available.

I like the pace of this tune. I hope for more overworld "athletics" tunes in this stage (SMB3, SMB2 USA, World...).

I didn't like it at first but now I can't stop lisening to it. I think it is really cool. This stage is going to be awesome. ;D |

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but has anyone else noticed that after today's Mario music update, we have exactly one song on the Dojo for each revealed franchise? the only exceptions are F-Zero, which still has no character or stage, and the "Smash" franchise, which has two songs. (I'm going to count the DS Oryouri Navi music that came with Kirby's final smash update as a "DS" franchise song, because where else would it go?)

This is very good version of the Mario theme. If I remember correctly, Koji Kondo said that he considers the music he did for Mario to be Latin music and this version definitely embraces that.

I wasn't sure at first, but I do like this version of the SMB theme and I think it fits in with today's other mario update quite well!

A nice music update. Kinda reminds me of the smw special world take on the theme. Really fits with the now deserted "mushroomy Kingdom".

It works. The piano scared me at first because it sounded like the theme from "Will & Grace" though. The girlfriend's done some very painful subjections over the past year... >.>

It's a funky remix, and deviates from the original enough for me to think it's a worthwhile remix as well.

Meh, it's ok I guess.
Another update that makes me happy about "My Music". While this version of the song is ok, I would much rather listen to the SMG Toy Time Galaxy SMB remix, Or the PM:TTYD SMB remix, or the Sunshine SMB remix, or the...*is shot*
I just don't like this song as much as other versions of it.
